It's not quite as simple as Uri is putting it. xD Unless you're not into end game... then okay, maybe.

All I'm doing on XI is crafting, or nothing at all. (not set up for delve yet.)
I don't give a ***how simple they made most of XI. I've played WoW and at first I enjoyed the whole questing/reward crap, but after like a week it was nothing but an annoyance. And it shares some crafting aspects, which again does nothing for me.
I also think it's great you can mine for a specific ore and all that jazz, but that's too boring for me (as much as I loathe mining in XI)
Anyway, I don't want to try 14. Nothing is going to change my mind. I was just trying to joke around with Aly :(

Even that is most likely just a time grind more than anything. The same thing it is in every game because it's the industry norm.
Simplify 95% of the game to make it easily accessible then make end game content somewhat challenging but mostly a slow process. It's the same way on WoW and XI now.

I'm starting as a Marauder or Arcanist, just so I can start in Limsa. Lancer/Dragoon will be my main, though.

I don't play FFXI for the FF franchise nor to play a MMO. Kinda stuck here for a while still so I don't care to play anything else. I don't even play STO for MMO aspects, I have fun doing what I want in there, n really don't participate with others there. I hate people. You prolly understand hatred for people too.

This right here is why me and my roommate quit FFXI.
Got tired of helping people who promised to help us in return, but ditched the moment they got what they wanted.
At least FXIV looks like you can solo 98% of it if you wish. At least thats what the developers have said in the videos I've watched. So together my roommate and I can do most of the content.
