so I awake at 5;15 in the god damn morning today to:

repeatedly. the wife's damn cat got out last night, & now it wanted in. loudly. at 5:15am. needless to say, I was not pleased. I thought, "I'm going to teach this *** thing a lesson." & as I let it in the door, I grabbed her by the scruff of the neck, & started giving her a proper spanking. well after a swat or two, she decided she was going to teach ME a lesson about spanking cats, & proceeded to nearly cut off my knuckle on my ring finger with her stupid claws, & now I probably have rabies.

Most pets (note: ALL pets) do not respond to "spanking" in any way.
Dogs? Swat their nose with newspaper. You may or may not have some luck.

SOme characters can only be done well by people of teh opposite sex IMO.
Females are typically the only people who can pull off Link because he is so feminine looking.
