Bismarck.Moonlightespada said: » Only other thing I can think of is if someone has a char in it, they can help by setting up a basic list, with a few guidelines set by you. Ie: since ya dont want to use pre made stuff using Masamune for a Gk or trademarked stuff from anime whould be out. This whould help aliviate some of the work ya need to do. Stat wise tho ya probably whould need to do yaself, don't want a lvl 10 char oneshotting bosses lol. Back when I was making one on RM2K3 I had set weapons and said chars equipped souls to boost Thier stats, ranging from nq to +S (7ranks) ie: person gets a goblin soul>equips>gained attack+2 dmg+4 and a +1 whould have a +1 to those stats <HQs> where gained thro a long scripted crafting event my friend wrote lol >< Also; what class was your character? My backup files say different things, and I know you asked me to change it at some point, so have no idea which the latest was. I made a system like that in 2k3, too. Had to make the equip screen from scratch because of the lack of scripting back then. So many events... @_@; Super easy to do with the equip script I have on VXA, though. Yay! I get to get out of this area of NM and into Tucson today...
sadly it is like 110 there but yay! I should go and buy a lottery ticket.
had my phone turned off last night and missed 3 phonecalls and a voicemail asking me to come in to work...lolno
I wonder if FFXI's active subscription numbers are up or down after SoA...

It's just new content along the same lines as old content with overpowered rewards that not only renders one new job useless, but also a couple formerly useful jobs, too. Delve content ruined it for me sure it was fun for 2-3 weeks but then Cerberus players (at least) wouldn't take a WHM without Neo Nyzle gear...
I'm just kinda in a mood to *** at the moment, but honestly, I've been a FF fan since I was 9 years old, had a friend around the street who had a PSX and FFVII, one week end I'd spend the night at his house, the next he'd spend at mine, good times. Our goal was to get out of Midgar in one night, he could do it no prob, but I was proud of myself when I shimmied down the rope and landed just outside the gate of the slums, only to find he fell asleep over a bag of doritos. Then FFVIII came out, then FFIX, good old days. But after that Final Fantasy declined, where did the world map go? FFX had one in trailers, but not in the final game. Best they've made since FFIX was Pre-SoA FFXI and FFXII.
FFXII had shitty character development, but it made up for it in playability, IMO. Phoenix.Kojo said: » FFXII had shitty character development ![]() Why the hell can't he afford a full shirt?! To be fair on FF X and no world map the world was the world map sorta. Spira wasn't very big and the edge of every area leads directly into the next.
Personally world maps have never been much different from picking from a list to me once you have the airship or whatever. Before that it is still a linear progression from one area to the next most of the time. The tunnel is wide but it's still a tunnel. cause he spent it all on his full pants and he was poor
I really liked FF12. Gabranth and Balthier made the game..best voice actors ever. I really liked Vaan too...it was the voice actor for Ashe that ruined everything. I only want to see FFXIV make it because, let's face it, if not, SE is probably finished. I've heard a few people say FFXIV was nothing special, that zones were kinda copy and paste, that it was boring. I kinda feel like after ARR, SoA needs to undergo a relaunch pf it's own. Adoulin, the city, seems unfinished and only one house is enterable, only during a quest and the inside is a Jeunoan house. Nothing they have said about how SoA would be has really come true except that it is for lv 99s and they added two jobs, one of which can't even do it's job unless you're VERY OCD when playing it, and if not, you fail.
I'm still against the drastic rate at which gear progresses, if the community hadn't gotten so pissed, the Delve weapons would've probably be rendered useless by now in an update over the last month. Secondly, after Delve, then what? More delve? More delve. Kujata.Daus said: » cause he spent it all on his full pants and he was poor I really liked FF12. One way FFX beat FFXII was that Tidus was in a new world he was annoyingly ignorant about, but eventually learned and became a trusted leader. Vaan was in his home world, annoyingly ignorant, and was still getting on nerves into the sequel. |
