I should probably invest in a proper melee weapon instead of just beating them with my guns once they adapt...
Never in my life have I wanted so badly to be punched in the face. A hammer and chisel were looking like truly viable options earlier.

Another hour before I can take the pain medicine, and the antibiotic doesn't work right away.

But I've also been put to sleep before, so at least I know the stuff works on me if they do need to put me out for it.
