to tell you the truth, it's a lot more cost effective, and easier than using hijackthis...

I do it all the time for people, typically because it's faster to start from scratch, especially when they have a bunch of bloatware etc, but then again: I haven't been doing much for people lately, I should start up again.

edit: don't get me wrong, not trying to defend best buy, when I wipe a drive and reinstall I don't make them pay for the restore disk and keep it, I actually go through the trouble of downloading their drivers and do a clean install.

Meh... I just do this myself for free.

My wife had some issues not to long ago, I moved stuff she wanted to keep (pictures mainly) to her second HDD, then wiped and redid windows. And badaboom, couple hours later like new.

TBH Abyss, that PSU is strong enough that if you want to upgrade your GPU in a year or so you could, assuming they left the 6pins....

Depends on what games you're playing. Also it's time sensetive because new cards are always coming out. If you upgrade let me or Quiz or Proth know and we can tell you whats best for your budget...assuming they left the 6-pin plugs.
