When we hooked up internet here at the apartment a guy came over to fix it and after he went back to where he works (to finish up) he called and checked if it worked and walked us through all the steps O:

I've been on the phone with a friend who is talking with his ISP for the past hour and a half, Clear, horrible decision on his part but nonetheless, his internet connection has sucked for months. He can't even load a picture while browsing.
They've been giving him lame responses to his questions for the past few months, and he requested management.
After all of that, he got someone to check out the tower, and he asked when he could expect them to come out and check it. The manager told him that he doesn't know. He then asked if it isn't fixed within a week or a month what then? The manager basically told him to cancel if he doesn't like their service.
I can't stand ISP companies, I really, really can't stand them. I told him to change ISP's and stop suffering with this BS, but the thing is it's cheap internet. It was working great, better than mine, for over a year, and now for the past 2-3 months it's been close to dead.

What company is this? should probably find a regional manager or something or someone higher up then that bozo ... get his *** fired.
I use Time Warner and they have their moments, but no matter how bad it gets they will always send out someone to your home, for free, to check out everything, and usually that will fix the issue whatever it may be. It's not cheap internet but I appreciate the fact that they will send someone out to check your problem at no charge.

Albeit I'm ditching their cable service soon not because I am displeased, but because I only use it to watch 3 tv shows I can get from the makers website(How I met your Mother and Big bang Theory being two of them) and to watch my soccer games. Thus I can get teh fox soccer 2 go service for $170 a year and save $80-90 a month...RIP DVR D:

the guy I called for ATT ended up not coming over about that issue I had... he did call though and we chit chatted.. and he said he was having the same issue... he said it wasn't anything related to my box or anything... was just a hiccup in their server or system or w/e...
he basically saved me a on site charge for having them come out for no reason ... so ATT is kinda good in my books now lol.

not sure if fiber is available in my area yet, I would LOVE it if I had it lol... this ISP is quick... but it has it's derpy moments.

I've always been limited to 24 but since the apartment building is getting fiber We can get at least 100, up to 250 (depends on what package we want).
They usually don't do fiber for houses here because it's friggen expensive and since I lived in a house before we could only get like 24 tops :/

The only thing that bugs me about this ISP is they don't offer N speeds for wireless yet (for some odd reason...) they've said they will eventually ... but who knows when that will be...
