My issue is getting excited over robot stuff in general.

I can enjoy two normal characters fighting, but change them out for robots and it doesn't do anything for me, no matter how much destruction, explosions, or changing of the background to fly through space or rainbows you can pull off, I just can't get into it ._. and I've tried multiple times.

We've been watching Gurren Lagann because he loves the show, and I like to watch stuff with him, but I would never watch that on my own. It's just so hard to stay interested in it.

its a "slice of life"/"highschool" anime/manga ......dont watch it....it will feast on your soul..

Gaia is more close range then Chaos or Abyss BUT then I thought, Impulse would good for him, Force Silhouette.

Gaia is such crap. I imagine the meeting with the designers went something like this:
"Let's build a transformable suit!"
"Okay, what's it's transformation going to do?"
"It'll transform from a ground-based suit... into a ground-based suit!"
"Genius!"
It's the most pointless gimmick ever. If they wanted an animal-like suit, they should just give the BuCUE and LaGOWE more screen time.

Chaos > Gaia > Abyss. Hated abyss look so much. That thing looked like it came out of an ugly can. LaGOWE did need more time, never seen another one in series, prolyl a few in manga. Cerberous Bacue even got some time in Stargazer, till Strike Noir had its way with them. LOVED That line of suits. Noir, Blu, Verde.....mmmmhmmmmmm

To be honest, the only Second Stage suit I like is the Impulse.
Shame the Third Stage series was cancelled; would've liked to have seen what suits would be made to go with the Saviour

There's a modified Kerberos BuCUe in Gunpla Builders D. Really nice mod; adds the Noir Striker pack to the Kerberos BuCUE, as well as a couple other changes.

I got the joy of torturing a gf with the movie specials (3 movies to condense the story) and I felt kinda bad. Tho as agreed, I watched Soul Eater in return, and I liked it, I think she got the better deal >_>

May I recommend Rahxephon if you have any need for new anime? It is very little to do with the big robot (Not giving away the plot) but has everything to do with the boy and everyone around him. My favorite anime I have watched. More so than Gundam Seed and Macross. >_>

You can find a guitar cheap, depends what are you looking for.

Most metal guitarists tend to lean toward Ibanez. It's got a thin neck guitar and easy to solo on the neck of the guitar. The more expensive versions usually will have active pickups for a stronger sound but will need regular battery replacements, especially if you leave the cord plugged in. The tremolo where the strings are attached in the body on these make them harder to restring and need to be fine tuned using the the little knobs on it, and will usually have a locking mechanism on the upper neck to hold the tuning of the strings.

Fenders will have both c-necks and d-necks that the D style will be more rounder on the necks but harder to play for small hands. The basic style with the pick guard is the Stratocaster. Easier to restring and tune, not locking on strings and the strings are fed thru the back of the body. There are cheaper version for starters, don't get student guitar, they are smaller almost for kids.

Les Paul, there are cheap knock offs like from Sam Ash but there's a huge variation on the neck styles and will be rounder and takes a bit to learn on.

Usually most people will get the Fender cheap around $100 to $300 for a good one. I wouldn't recommend the the Telecaster to learn on, it's alittle odd playing those at first.

This is my opinion. If you get a guitar from Guitar Center, make sure that if you buy it from them, they offer to restring the guitar for it's lifetime. Starting out, you'll probably play on dead strings here and there but it's nice when they will do the restring cause they might readjust the neck if it gets off alignment.
