Great Video Game Moments

Star Fox 64 had a TON of my best gaming moments ever. I remember it well... I was 7 years old at the time, and I wasn't ever terribly good at video games. So when I finally broke the 1000 point mark in Star Fox 64 it was so exciting.

And yeah, getting that accomplished ending on Macbeth was always one of the toughest. I only got that a few times growing up.

I remember one time I went through that warp zone, and just damn that was awesome.

Beating zelda II: Adventures of Link. My grandma was only able to beat it once before and when she did, the phone rang and she missed the ending. When I beat it she got to finally see the ending. I think I was 9 or so. Not that the ending was that impressive or anything but still, back then it was the most awesome thing. I still remember navigating via her hand drawn maps of the castles and running from blue shielders(I dunno what they were actually called).

FF8 - Opening scene and Ragnarok's assault on lunatic pandora. I've always loved airships but nothing was more badass than my freaking dragon airship blasting through barriers and finally docking with the arms.

FF6 - It's been mentioned but the opera scene is one of the most original and epic moments in gaming for me.

Coming home from work and my then girlfriend showing me the Gold Chocobo she bred in FFVII.. epic...

Also the twist in KOTOR was mind blowing.
