OKay let me explain this to you all nonplayers...
This is a children's card game... PLayed by adults. Why? because the rules are SO complicated, few children would actually LEARN it. I use to work at a comic/card shop and got into the game like that playing with people that came in on the weekends. It's basicly 15+ year old children. I'm 20 myself and still have my cards around here and still collect (not like ENTIRE PAYCHECK ON CARDS GO collect...) honestly it's fun after a while. Just gotta get use to it and find what works for you.

I like Yu-gi-oh! cause it's complex in a way that's doesn't make it difficult. Sure kids can play it, but most would never beable to utilize all the cards and deck themes as well as an adult would.
Kinda the same as Pokemon. *** the anime, but I love the pokemon games. The style and premise pokemon make for a wonderful game. Sure kids can play it just fine, but can most kids train and utilize their pokemon to their maximum potential taking into account Effort Values, IVs, Egg moves, and all of the other in depth mechanics as much as an adult would? Not likely.

My favourite deck was a zombie one, I haven't played since the Zombie world pack came out, I used the old zombie structure deck and modified it.
Vampire lord and pyramid turtles. Ryu Kokki and Spirit reaper. Eventually heading toward Vampire Genesis.
Oh and I always find it incredibly Ironic when someone on an FFXI community site calls someone childish for a hobby.

Vampire lord and pyramid turtles. Ryu Kokki and Spirit reaper. Eventually heading toward Vampire Genesis.
zombie red eyes and zombie world all the way.
but zombie decks are lame compared to lightsworn.
batteryman decks are also pretty pimp.
but a well set up zombie red eyes deck is devastating.
genesis pisses me off and you don't really even get to use him all that often for the most part which makes the deck less versatile.

That's true. I did use Zombie burn for a while because Genesis centric decks really suffer against cookie cutters.
And yeah, I love Zombie red eyes, that can be marjorly devastating. I guess my main strat with a zombie deck was rapidly getting strong monsters out, especially those with annoying effects like Vampire lord and patrician of Darkness whilst locking down with Spirit reaper and gravity bind with enough card destruction magics and traps.

Also I don't know what Lightsworn is, I've been out of the game for a while. Back when I was playing Cookie Cutters were eating up tournies.

You can easily get a bad set up with the card draw.
but then on the flipside you can own *** too.
pretty much zerg beats decks 9/10 and jinzo is good as always.

just make a bigass deck for it lol.
i usually make multi-purpose decks though.
I hate playing against lockdown strats, it's a gigantic pain.
Horus is a *** if he gets out too.
I had a Jinzo, I loved that card. My favourite deck I made for just fun was my destiny hero deck, it was based around getting Dogma out to halve life points. Actually relatively easy to do with double dude too.

*** yea, Zombies are awesome. I acutally bought Zombie World (The Structure Deck) and a few Zombie related support cards off of eBay. It's a pretty awesome theme.
YVD is also a pretty awesome Online PC Yu-Gi-Oh engine.

Yeah, but that strategy was incredibly hard to pull off. I had the Pegasus toon deck, but I only got it to work a handful of times.
Best thing in that Pegasus deck was relinquished imo.
