just fought and got both Typhon and Ultros on my team this fight was actually very fun and a tiny bit challenging

If Gilgamesh is easy, all hope is lost for a tough enemy in FF13-2.
lol im still trying to get through the main story so I can level enough to beat Omega, Lightning/Amodar, and Jihl. I bought Ultros/Typhon...but I have enough to do first already xD

For those characters, yes, but Gilgamesh has never had guns. Its a new thing for him, so it is a little odd at first. The more I watch the video the more it grows on me though.

Looks like he tosses that get up away as you gradually go in to the fight and brings all his swords out.

Killed Ultros ! damn this guy was hard ; ; (well typhon).
i cant beat gilgamesh might be cause i'm super sleepy but this jerk has life for days just seems endless i'm not sure wth to actually do his inflict pain etc ***is annoying
sounds like they didn't make gilgamesh a "joke" of a character in this game, some faith has been restored in SE!
ok nvm just beat this guy make sure you have super decked out omega (siphon build) bring a ***load of elixirs and pray you can keep him stunned during stagger also at 50% be ready with sen sen sen cause it's rape.

You know, as much as I absolutely loathed FF13 and the thought of it's sequel, it may turn out being the monster customization and constant feed of previous FF allusions and references that win me over to picking this one up.
At first I was utterly disgusted to see Gilgamesh with guns, as he is a reputable and notorious sword collector of legendary status. Luckily it was merely a warm up phase, and for a nice refreshing change, he looks to be quite a formidable challenge compared to his previous cameos excluding FF5. Also the hybrid of feudal-era Japanese instruments in traditional music mixed with the modernized badassery of the famous Clash on the Big Bridge track had me somewhat giddy.
To purchase this game will be like agreeing to date an ex girlfriend. You know you shouldn't do it, but sometimes you look past the shitty transgressions and travesties and embrace what still makes your heart race.
Never before have I had such mixed feelings with my beloved franchise but for what is offered to satiate my rose tinted nostalgia glass vision, price of admission and swallowed pride might be tolerable for once.
Gilgamesh, I accept your challenge.

The fights really are quite exciting. I hope they keep making them for awhile longer :D
I keep stopping to grind a bit as I go thru the main story and Im trying to see how low level I can be and beat Omega/Lightning/Amodar.
Prediction: Shinyru. You know, like the one in the chest in the Void in FFV.
