Yeah, you will get higher results with RR than MM. If you are popping ISL chests and chugging temps and then popping open item boxes, MP is rarely an issue. I have 4/tic refresh in my idle, then keep Battery Charge up as well in between pulls if I am running low. Depending on how low you get the mobs, you may be fine w/ MM and then CA+Effluxed Whirl of rage, saving you any potential MP problems.

MP is generally never an issue if you have capped Pearl. So I never use MM or RR atmas.

This, you wont need MM once you are getting 2hr chests, and RR wont come near the dam increase you'd get from the lighting+ from Lion or BH.

I do 6k CW's with Ascetic's Drinks generally on most stuff with that setup.

I have to admit, I am spoiled a little. I use MM, buts that is because I have a BLM mule to Firaja the mobs down after the whisker. Saves me keys and time checking boxes since I don't need temps or ISLs.

If you have Twilight Cape and Lightning Obi then turn that BLM mule into a SCH. 7K plus should be standard after that.

me and a friend messing with atma combos im loving Lion/BH/Ult doing 5024DMG to a mob of Halter-skelter's

So far here's what I found:

Lion/BH/MM = 4089dmg per mob
Lion/BH/RR = 4383 - 4397dmg per mob
Lion/BH/Baying Moon = 4449dmg per mob

I usually pick the aquan or scorpions mobs for Charge Whisker only
- Misareaux , Crabs and Frogs near Flux 00
- Vunkerl , Pugils near flux 03, careful the NM he's annoying
- Tahrohgi , Scorpions (Scorpions are much easier to pull as they dont loose hate)
- Grauberg , I usually pick Pugils as not many people killing them
- La Th , Frogs near Flux 6
- Konsta , leeches Northwest of maps whatever the flux is can't remember

or 2 spells setup for other type of mobs. Charge whisker , Thermal pulse, I use Ultimate, smolding sky , lion for this setup- CW will be much less DMG but fully buffed can usually cast CW > ThP and they all dead or nearly. Frypan or whirl of rage would finish them off if the 1st 2 spells didn't
- Altepa , Detector near Flux 8
- Ul, spectetor near Flux 7
- Grauberg , the detector type (can't remember the name) north east of map near flux 8
- Attoh , Mandy near Flux 5

Other than What I have listed I haven't done BLU burn much at other spots.

I have seen Buffalo in Ul, Gargoyle Vurkerl, but never tried them.

Use Burst Affinity before you use charged whisker, Lion/Beyond/Ultimate atmas, you will average 4 to 6k on crits with +2 blue gear and stacking fantod 6 times, any magic attk you can stack is good, use Jupiter's Staff etc.

Tbh you could CW nearly any mob in aby, Idk why but I was skeptical about Coeurls but I was able to one shot those as well. It's generally just a good idea to pick a mob that isnt spread out too much so you can gather as much up as possible in a short amount of time.

I tend to go for mobs that aggro by sound or magic, that way it's easier to gather them up, whereas with sight mobs you've gotta run through their field of vision and it can take longer than it really needs to be :/

I'm also curious about atma's.
I've used blinding horn, lion and ultimate.
Yet replacing blinding horn with Razed ruins seems to have significantly bumped up my damage, my damage tends to sit around 4200 up to 5000, yet using lion, blinding horn and ultimate My damage dropped about 3000.

That replacing Blinding Horn with RR for more damage just doesn't sound right...

did they remove the elemental affinity cap? I know blm's ran into this issue with just the lvl 90 staffs and 1 atma, ie. beyond + the lvl 85 staff will cap your ice affinity, 50%, no need for the lvl 90. Which if this is the case atma of the lion puts you at 40% and your only getting a 10% boost from Blinding horn which is really just wasting an atma.

It never capped at 50%.

This was the set I used anyway, the monsters were the mandies & Chigoes in attohwa.

You can also throw an Enervation down and have the mobs defense go down.

That's almost identical to my set and I get well over 5k with Lion/BH/Ultimate. I usually only buff with Memento Mori and BA, only bother with Enervation and/or Sound Blast if mobs are just barely left alive afterwards.

You have an identical set of mine. And I use the atma's you mentioned, Lion/Blinding/Ultima.

It may be your selection of spells? Honestly I don't know. I can 1 shot the chigoes, in rare cases, some resist but a WoR finishes them off. I never tried my set with the Mandy's, but I would imagine a Thermal Pulse would finish them off, I believe they have slightly more HP than the Chigoes.

This. I've never seen a CW less than 5k, and my set is almost the same,(minor upgrades: Novio, Demon's Ring etc) I always stick with Lion/Blinding Horn/Ultimate.

I can't remember my spells off hand lol, if anything it'll be the spells i use as blu in general I only made a few swaps out for Charged Whisker, Whirl of rage and memento mori which I stopped using due to Ascetic's tonic at times, I was able to one shot chigoes and the mandies to an extent, there was always one or two that lived.
I'll try it out again some time and see if I get better results.

I never use Fantod, find it a waste to have to sit there and spam the spell several times. I generally do:

Sleep> Cure (if needed)> Enervation > CA/BA/Efflux > Whisker > Whirl (if needed)

pretty sure CA and efflux effects physical spells only should save that for whirl of rage if needed.

Yeah, they don't get used up when you cast whisker since its a magical spell. Its there and ready for if you need to whirl.

That's just charged whisker with BA only on Easy prey mandies using Blinding horn, Lion and ultimate.
Not sure what else I can do for it honestly.
