The Layout Of Your Moghouse (Pics Optional)

Since I started playing this game, there has always been one thing I have neglected - my Mog House. I have tossed a few furnishings in there to get some extra inventory space, and a bed to get the XP loss reduction, but nothing more than that and it looks like a clutter.

Then, I remembered seeing some people had amazing layouts and I always wondered what it would take to get my mog house to look like that. That is why I'm making this thread. I'd like to know what people have in their Mog House that would not only maximize efficiency (ie the bed's xp loss reduction) but also actually look pretty interesting.

What are some specific furnishing items that you have that you think makes your mog house?

Feel free to post pics too.

I have always been all about efficiency with the max amount of storage with the fewest amount of items, but lately I've been wanting to ditch that philosophy and go for looks, so I'd also be interested to see what people have.

I was the same, max storage with minimum items. Stuff like the Panetiere made gives a lot more freedom to make it look good now.

Mines still bare essentials at the moment though, bed, storage and my Basty Flag pretty much.

I remember someone in here a while back that did near-professional work on MHs. It all looked actually cool, would sacrifice inventory space for stuff like that. Let me see if I can find that thread.

The main problem is that some of those beds and stuff are (Or used to be) really expensive.

I pushed stuff against the walls and had random stuff like chocobo bedding and a hammock while also having a normal bed lol. Lots of coffers too.

Ive been playing since like 2001 or something. whenever release was. And ive done every holiday event every year, and they always give furniture. So i have mine seperated into the nations furniture, with the nation flag on the wall above the furniture for sandy.

I've always enjoyed furnishing my MH, there's next to no gear in my safe for all the furniture in it. I try spread the love on my server as a keen woodworker by giving out free furniture to friends. Try growing plants until they glow then freeze rather than harvest them, that's a good cheap way of making it look better, I have one either side of the door on a flower stand

When I still played I loved my mog house, It was all like very loud with lights? It may have not been cool compared to others but when ever I could I would alway change it and buy new stuff. I always had at least 3 beds in it. Good laughs with that might I add

I collected a lot of random junk over the years turned into quite the hobby for awhile but seems nobody even cares about Mog houses anymore.

Neat thread, hope we see some more pictures. I've never been into my moghouse layout for 3 reasons. Space, gil, and making sure I had the right stuff in there for smithing. That being said, i'm considering making my mog house a smithing shrine one of these days since I have my grande smithing stall now.

My mog house seems so scarce compared to what has been provided ;;
