I hit a 4623 on a Sea Puk at Mamool Ja Staging Point. Soul Voice Minuetx2, Chaos Roll #4, Hedgehog Pie, 300% TP Souleater, Last Resort, Berserk, Warcry, Spiral Hell.

Slug Shot for 5,648 on a Hpemde in open mouth form on COR. It one shot it =D Had 4 Minuet's and a Chaos Roll up though. Good times, I'll post a screenshot if I still have it.
Outside of Hpemde though, Blade: Jin for just under 1.5k in a meripo is probably my most noteable.

My screenshot failed that day, but I did ~2k Expiacion > ~4k Disseverment > ~9k darkness on some random qutrub quest NM. Can't remember exact numbers, but it was ~14k SC... sexy
3760~ SATA Steel Cyclone on a Qu'trub at Dvucca Isle. No buffs except food, and with 300TP.
[Though it doesn't really count, the surrounding results of the WS are cool XD So: Mnk Opened with Asuran Fists for 860~, and I closed Darkness with the 3760. Buuut double damage procced on the Skillchain, so it did 7500~! XD total Skillchain dmagage, roughly 12k. Good times.]

a little over a year ago:

I had a Friend hit nearly 8k on DRK on the Boreal Hound.
thf friend and me were playing around with SATA outside whitegate on colibri, we'd been theorizing thf/blu a good way to trick attack a pld tanking JoL (haven't tried it yet, but our tests show that TA wild oats works as a ranged TA). Then as a laugh he went and changed to /drk and did a souleater SATA dancing Edge or shark bite or something... dunno the numbers, but he got the colibri to 5% in one shot, and almost killed himself in the process lol
That would be close to 2500 damage. I believe Colibri have around that much HP, seeing as I hit a 2k Sidewinder at LV56 and it took 85% of its HP.
I once did 3736 with sidewinder (no buffs or food.) I play on an Xbox, so I can't take a screenshot with the chat log up. But there were two people with me (Rues and Porshe) that can verify.
RNG is overpowered in merits. c.c That's why I love it.

I have seen but lack the screenshot of a 5600~ Raging Rush on Mad Bomber in Salvage. 2hr + BRD 2hr full unlock as capable to get for that floor.
Ranged attacks are far more lenient on damage caps. I would show you a screenshot, but I don't have them anymore.
Edit:Actually, give me like 15 minutes. I'll go Slug Shot a Damselfly on my 63 RNG. You'll see what I mean. (Keep in mind Culverin has THE highest damage in the game, besides those Winds from Sky)

Got a screenshot. It must be the damage cap with this E Bow. But Culverin/Cannon Shell is 140 DMG, as opposed to my current 105 DMG.

~2800 penta thrust as sam on Great C in meripo
~1900 gekko to khim as sam/thf when DA of pole/brutal kicked
Edit: had some redonkulus numbers all over the place during the 2 weeks of 2handed craziness buff, but I don't really count those for anything.

Actually, Sidewinder and Slug Shot are not multi-hit WS's, they just do quadruple damage. Simiilar to Viper Bite, how it is a single hit but does double damage. Otherwise, you would be correct, and the mob would die before the subsequent hits would occur.

bull. i find that hard to belive as i could go rng/war with culverin+1 heavy shell, and i wont hit that hard on the same mobs, ure looking at maybe 3.5k if anything
