Don't get me wrong i'm doing Caladbolg too in order to complete my drk's empys, and i'm not a GS hater. if they put on apoc and RR their torcleaver would be could be doing 7k+ easily, the reason the GS is better is because it has a lower delay and barely less attack so you put out damage faster with the GS.

need Crit + damage atmas + GC
I have screen shot of 10K to the nm spider Athamas which i thought was good.
/thf is when you have alot of people and want to epeen.
but I'm a firm believe of /mnk for everything in abyssea. :P

It looks like the general consensus is RR/Apoc, with varying opinions on the third atma. Shouldnt the third atma be Lion? It's almost as good as Apoc, and it doesnt have the -HP that A/O has.
+10 att vs. 10% DPT and +25% HP. I'd say it would be worth it since you'll be capping attack anyways on 95% of the stuff inside.

If Lion's affects are as they're written on Wiki, its absolutely better than AaO because of the HP reduction's influence on Souleater.

No, that does not make it "absolutely better," it will make it slightly better for Souleater, but that is it. You might as well say that Ebon Hoof is absolutely better than AaO because of the HP reduction's influence on Souleater.
In all other situations, AaO will out do Lion.

DRK's melee attacks are purely water-based, so Lion actually lowers your total damage output.

As DRK i use Apoc/RR/VV Nothing special about my DRK but with Guillotine i do a consistant 1.5k-2k with spike dmg as high as 4k
Sometimes Cross Reaper has some high spike dmg too but typically 1.5k ive had a 3k on it though. I dont eat any foods either.

Fixed. Would maintain a 6-hit setup with Sam. No reason to use Pole grip.. and never a reason to use uther'...
btw no reason to use Hoard ring in your tp setup. It has no effect in your hit build.

Hauby/+1 is better for ws if you cannot get grim, also try and get anguinus belt.

9 million Kannagis and Almaces trying to get 90, I'm sure some of them would exchange DRK seals from Dhorme that they don't need for faster red procs.

I just got Lion. If we say that 15% TA from Apoc = 30% more damage & 30% more TP gain, likewise we can also say that 10% TA from Lion = 20% more damage & 20% more TP gain... Combine them for 50%?
RR/Apoc/Lion? its against the norm! don't do it
Just curious as too what Atmas you folks would use for DRK? I got three lunar abyssites so makes things better for me. I was going to go for MM-VV and not sure what for third, triple attack maybe? or an HP+?
