New Mog Bonanza!

New things have been added (all in the form of a coupon):

* Empyrean Weapons (the level 85 form)
* Dynamis job accessories (that you only get in the dreamland areas)

Ok, Empyrean Weapons... but as Rank 1? Would you rather have 100m or one weapon you can relatively easily obtain with time?

it might be the level 90 versions, which yes suck balls to upgrade from 85 from what i understand (masamune requires like 75 hearts from an NM....really now? lol)

and OP the sea torques have been in the past 1-2 or so bananzas...

Hate to admit it but, this pretty much sums it up. If you don't have the means to make the base item, you're not going to be able to finish it and you're sure as hell not going to be able to use it. Just a waste no matter what.

Though if you have a good shell, getting a base item wouldn't be terrible but I think you could do better with the gil.

Point made but I can see a few people going for the weapon (aka people who are already rich as hell) and as you said gil doesn't go as far as it used to.

If you win rank 1 and choose to take gil you may as well pay for those empyrean NM items, so in the end you can still have Empyrean weapons.

While the Sea Torques were available during the last mog bonanza (I couldn't even remember them being offered), they were a rank 3 prize back then and now they're rank 4, so they'll be much easier to obtain this time around. I've never even won a rank 4 prize from any of the bonanza's yet, so I'm not going to get my hopes up, but it would be nice to finally get a Sea Torque (a little late, but better late than never).
