Just wondering if people have a lot of experience with getting the Abyssite without red!! proc. Gonna pick up a few pops and possibly do this NM tonight. Curious if it's a high drop rate and if I should even bother worrying about getting a War for !!.

nonred = goodluck

We did this nm testing all nms we could find the other night in Abyssea - Altepa and got it the first shot actually. No triggers what so ever, but TH6 or so if you believe in that sort of thing helping. The nm is easy and very easy to get the pop item right around the corner. Bring a couple good people if needed and have at it. Gl

yes you can get key items from NMs without proc'ing red, just so we're clear.. got iktomi's just last night without red proc so its definitely possible

Duo'd this NM with my WHM friend on my MNK. First shot, proc'd yellow with banish II and got the abyssite along with Mageblade and some other junk. All in all, yea you can get without proc'ing Red.
