That game any good? I was recently thinking about picking that up, looks fun, and was somehow under my radar for a while.
Although be warned, it doesn't scale like Fallout 3 or Oblivion, areas are set levels.. You'll sometimes get a quest you can't quite do at the moment because your level is too low, but it does a pretty good job of only giving you access to areas and quests where you can either currently handle it or will be able to in just a couple of levels.

I don't get it, what isn't there to stare at? Virtually every location in Fallout 3 has a contextual story designed into it, something that Oblivion has less than 1% of 1% of the time. (0.01%)

To be fair...I only played 5-10 hours of it, been thinking about picking it up again one day since its only like ten bucks.
Never had that issue myself, but I play Sneak-based characters in Fallout 3/New Vegas, so I am very slow, and very careful (Always hardest difficulty too). It gives me time to take in the game while I ambush people and nick their sweet gear.

Two Worlds (I and II) Is what happens when an Oblivion Mod team thinks they can make a better game simply by adding every piece of content they can think of.
On paper, a great idea, in practice though, there's a critical threshold where you simply don't have the time, money or skill to do even a faction of what you want well. Personally, I think Two Worlds one and two are abortions that should be purged from our collective memory.
two worlds one and two sucked so horribly that i was able to get a full refund from gamestop, one of the most money grubbing companies of all time. shouldnt complain though, mine is holding my collectors edition... the jerks let me touch it over the weekend... ; ;
Two days left if you're getting a midnight copy. Bethesda hasn't released anything new on their Youtube or blog though. I think they have their hands full keeping Leaked information off their Forums.

I'm gonna have to agree with San. Fallout 3 didn't work for me, but mainly because it was a bit too depressing for me. New Vegas was a bit more upbeat though and I enjoyed it very much.
For me, that grim, bleak, depressing outlook of Fallout 3 is what sold me on it. It wasn't fast paced, it was gritty and bleak, everything was brown and ugly, just like what I picture a future with that outcome would look like. I was hooked instantly.
I don't even have the game pre-ordered and last night I dreamt I went to Gamestop to pick up my pre-ordered copy <_<

My girlfriend is in college but she comes home every weekend, usually I love seeing her but...gah...no way I'm gonna get away with ignoring her Friday for Skyrim.

Also, for people getting it on midnight Do not install it to the Hard Drive, currently there's a bug (Which will be patched early on Nov.11) that causes incorrect streaming from the HDD. So just play it off-disc which works fine. (Unkown if Mandatory install on PS3 has the issue, I just think it's 360 because of the inefficient caching of the system)

Michael Hogan as General Tullius, that's the one reason I'm considering siding with the Imperial Legion against the Stormcloaks. (Armando Bailey in Mass Effect 2, Doc Mitchell in Fallout: New Vegas)
Also, I've heard the game is actually really hard even on Normal Difficulty. It might just be pains from getting Acclimated to the differences though. I know Morrowind seems impossible as *** if you don't know what you're Doing.

Totally camping out Thursday night. Got my DS charged and ready to go sit in front of my Gamestop, if necessary.
I'm counting the hours, resisting the temptation to look at any more leaked info. I finally 200.6%'d Castlevania Symphony of the Night (XBLA), so I don't got anything to keep my occupied really. And my hand is chafed and bleeding, so Plan B has been expended (Several times)-

I'm not getting it for a few days after release. My uncle up in Buffalo pre-ordered 2 copies and is mailing one to me. It'll be tough waiting those couple extra days.. but it'll give me time to spend -more- time at the gym now to combat the less time at the gym I will spend when I get it.

Even the ambiance and background music stands on a grand and illustrious scale. I am curious if there is going to be a release of the game soundtrack/score.

Graphics yes, but art... No.
See, Games like Battlefield 3 and Crysis 2 have amazing graphics, but they really lack a unique visual identity. It focuses too much on making it "Look real", instead of just making it look good. For a game like Battlefield 3, that works to its advantage, but not so much Crysis 2 (in my opinion, cause of aliens 'n'***).
But then you look at a game like RAGE, under the technical wizardry of John Carmack, they make a game that is, in my opinion the most visually impressive game ever released. With amazing art, animations and graphics (Assuming you don't have the issues on PC with drivers). Too bad the game part of the game wasn't particularly interesting, and the plot was so boring and forgettable, I couldn't even be compelled to finish the game. It's not a bad game, but you feel like it's run it's course before it's over. Like getting off early, sure, you're satisfied, but maybe you're a little disappointed it wasn't longer.
zicdeh, do what ive been doing, playing some cheap but fun indie games on xbox. breath of death VII and cthulu saves the world. HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE titles but fun little retro games to pass up time, plus theyre actually good.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, the newest episode is good. Like Trinity Season good.
