I actually cheated, I put the Postcode (Zip code equivalent) of my old College in =P

It's like 5 miles away from my house, so even if anyone DID work out where it was, they have another 30min to travel before they find anything close to me. <3

I put in my full postcode and it says I live 15 miles away in the middle of the moors. I think Scragg really does value our privacy :)

(Why would anyone think I'm a girl? I'm not very lady like, lol)

I just put in the nearest City to me (Preston) and it only put the county of Lancashire as my location. It would be a miracle if anyone could find me from that info alone :)

This is much fun. I entered my postal code alone and pretty much pin-pointed my place exactly on the street lol.

Also, I was wondering why it is not listing more than one person if they are located in the same city? For example:
Scrily and I are both listed under Hamilton, ON. However, if you were to click on map only I am being displayed.
When I tried to enter postal code it wouldn't take it, and just listed me as province only. Well, that would have been okay if it wouldn't have stuck me way up north out in the boonies ...

Maybe a bunch of little markers should be attached to the bigger marker, or something. *shrug*

This update needs a blog.. or the little red box on the left hand side.. More people need to participate! Not everyone reads the forums unfortunately.

I added some randomness to the coords, so they don't exactly overlap

hey how do we post our push pin on the map guys??? Question???

Curious?

Just go to "Edit Character" and there's a place underneath the LS link where you put in your zip code or city and it'll put your pin in there. ^^

THANKS MAN!!!

I'm still waiting to hear about this turning into a situation like at the end of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back:

"Do you play the character XXXXX that ninja-lotted that gear in Nyzul last week? Oh, you do?!" *pulls person out of their house and starts beating him*

LOL

Only way you'd live close to the dot is if you're near the center of what they designate your city. I, for example, live about 10 blocks away or so.

Honestly, I don’t see why so many people are complaining. Myspace and Facebook are far more invasive then this new feature will ever be. With Myspace and Facebook you got location, pictures, names, age, all the good stuff a real stalker would need to stalk you.

And what does this feature do? Tell you where you the general location of where you live… unless the stalker plans on knocking on every single door in a 3 mile radius, knowing absolutely nothing about what you look like, how old you are, what your name is, and in some cases what gender you are, (I thought Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooodum was a girl. >.>) I think it’s safe to say this feature is harmless.

P.S. I added myself! I see a few people around me but.. no one from my server.

l2google. It's like building a puzzle, take little pieces and build it up til you have everything you want/need.

Yeah, it's pretty funny. Not as good as Clerks or Chasing Amy, imho, but it's funny seeing all the different characters from his movies up to that point in one film. Wait to you see the fictitious "Good Will Hunting 2: Hunting Season" they're making in it lol
