Have you ever wondered why the Quasiluminums inside Sea aggro Grahs when escorting them and the ones outside never aggro UFOs or Sharks, despite being near, beneath or right on top of them on several occasions?

Why can SAM use the relic bow and get access to the most powerful Archery WS, but can't even use Flaming Arrow without /RNG?

Why bother using Ecphoria ring to remove Amnesia when there's a delay after using an item until you can use a JA or WS?

Why don't the gods summoned by Kirin have normal drops?

Why don't mobs in the WotG areas drop Ancient Currency or Relic Armor? It's the same time period as Dynamis!

Why are NPCs so controlling they don't let you name your Wyvern or Automaton on your own, and only give you a short list to pick from?

This is more of a stab at JP players than the game itself, but why do they all act like NA and EU players are jackasses if they don't use the auto-translator, yet they refuse to use it?

Why do dragons, one of history's most feared and powerful mythical creatures, all look anorexic?

Because God is SAM, Ecphoria is so players don't *** so often about amnesia (but we do anyway, its not erasable ftl), because SE loves to *** with us, because then dyna runs would drop 50% because everyone would be upgrading relics with beastmen burn pts in the past, I haven't named a pet, so idc, because Japanese are completely against integrating with NA by any means necessary (I live in Japan as an american, I'm not biased, I know how it is), and because Japanese and Chinese dragons were not depicted as the western dragons were.

Yet the Wyrms in game are based around Western mythology. They're named after Wyrms in Western mythology, their appearance is based around Wyrms in Western mythology, their drops are even named after treasures, trinkets or weapons in Western mythology... Uh... I don't think that answers the question, sorry ;;

eg. Fafnir, Nidhogg, Jormungand are all Norse. Tiamat and Ouryu are Babylonian, and are the only non-Western mythology named Wyrms. Still look the same with a unique paint job, though. No idea what Vrtra is from though. Fafnir drops Ridill and Aegisja... etc, and Andvaranauts (spelling sux's on those), all from the same Norse mythology as Fafnir and Nidhogg.

A better question would be "Why does something being rare mean you can only carry one?"

Just because an Empress Hairpin is rare, doesn't mean only one would fit in my pocket!

They wanted to make it that its "so rare there is only one in existance" but obivously doesnt apply when everyone and their brother has them.

Wooooodum: All the "dragons" that you named are actually considered Wyrms, not Dragons, which is why they have a different appearance. I was referring to the actual monster class Dragon, including mobs such as Shadow Dragon, Ash Dragon, Apocalyptic Beast, etc etc. As for Kyaaadaa, Eastern doesn't really apply because A) none of the dragons are bearded, which was very common in eastern mythology, and B) they also usually were not completely scaled, sometimes having long hair or manes. Also, almost all Chinese dragons could fly, but only Wyrms can fly in FFXI. But the body type is similar, so kudos for thinking outside the box.

Vrtra is an Asura, enemy of the gods, in Indian (Hindu) mythos.

I think that about Mithra and hats too. Elvaan and Tarutaru's ears are still visible, where do the Mithra's ears go?

Ever wonder why Blus must reset spells every time we change jobs.
Is it that hard to add an automatic memory of the last spells I had set? (if so, not that serious, but would speed up when I am needed in a timely manner.)

That brings up an interesting question... Exactly how old are our characters supposed to be? I have a feeling we're all around 20ish and were born during the baby boom during the war; Similar to WW2.
