Has Anyone Deciphered This Abyssea Odyssey?

Nevermind myth busted -.- was the WS animation after all and the purple was from a DRK WS.... ugh.

probably just part of the animation for the ws

like when you cast a spell (say flash) on a mob the animation is bigger..

you probably never noticed the thunderish stuff from raiden thrust on smaller mobs before

While you might certainly be onto something, it could easily just be the game's ambient lighting system rendering the models after some WS special effect goes off, much like how sometimes you get an "orange Byakko" (as opposed to yellow on this particular mob model.)

We ruled out the possibility of it being the WS animation when we've trigger this same shine effect only purple when we took down Cirein-croin and other NM's.

I'll try Raiden Thrust on a few mobs to see if its indeed the animation but we've noticed it on smaller mobs too.

Pretty sure it's just the leftovers from the WS animation not getting repainted. Try something like bora axe or ascetic's fury, should turn the mob almost black, lol.

Yeah the reason we only thought elsewise is becuase there is a purple ending one as well. We thought it could be a hint for the red !! instead of having to blindly guess... so much for thinking out side the box at least.

It WOULD be a nice gesture where if you did an elemental WS that was incorrect for the trigger if it gave a split second hint like that.
