Ah the place where people murder and eat citizens on buses.

Must mean everyone eats people on buses in Canada.

Maybe if you couldnt buy a gun or assault rifle at every store all of your criminals wouldnt have guns. In other countries if you want an AK47 you have to rob the army, in the us just go to an arizona gun show and walk out with one that day. Sorry no matter how much you guys want to argue there is nothing that is going to prove that everyone should be able to carry a gun. Seriously it is sad how many of you clearly have no common sense at all. Your constitution is so out of date, there are no longer cowboys riding around taking farms from people, get with the times. Focus your money and energy on improving your country, improving your education system so your college grads have more then a grade 6 education. Stop spending all your money on guns so you can destroy any country that doesnt live the "american way".

In other countries the military and the police are the criminals, Mexico and Russia send their reguards.

No one is trying to prove you should own a gun. Its ok little fella, stronger more competent men will protect you.

Our constitution is still very relevant to modern life. The Second Amendment was never about cowboys, or hunting, or any of that other gay ***that liberty hating fascist like you seem to abhor so vehemently. The Second Amendment exists to give us protection from our own corrupt, tyrannical, thieving government.

Further more, we don't spend all our money trying to destroy other countries that don't live the American way. We spend a very large portion of our money trying to coerce other governments into behaving better. I personally view Canada as a bigger failure of our foreign policy then South Vietnam, but thats just me. At any rate, we atleast entertain the rest of the worlds intentions to alter our way of life through subterfuge, after all, we do house the United Nations, so at the very least I think you should give us credit sportsman like conduct.

I am from Canada, where we have actual gun laws and protection (flannel kevlar vests are required in canada) and we can assume the nutcase living next door (assumes all people living next door are nutcases) doesnt have a gun. We also have a functioning health care system, education system (teaches all canadians to be ignorant stereotyping a-holes), tax structure (we also have a tax structure, this is a point of national pride for canada?) and functioning gov't. And also we are the country that sent your *** packing when you tried to invade us(solid understanding of relevant information).

If your health care system is so great why do canadians who can afford treatment in the US come down here to spend their money on it?

If your education system is so fantastic why do the majority of your college students opt to pursue their master degrees down here?

In fact, if Canada is so great why the hell are there so many canadians living down here with permanent resident status?

Well, how else are they going to tell us about how super awesome Canada is? Oh, right. They just insult and stereotype people online to get their point across.

America does have gun laws... So in Canada you have all kinds of nutcases living next door to you? Well I can believe that now as you kinda come off as one. As for your health care system I do know some Americans who cross the border to fill up on prescriptions. I don't know too much about the Canadian education system or tax structure but i'll get back to you on that. Functioning government? lol... As for invading Canada do you mean back in the late 1700's or early 1800's when you know you were still owned by the British?

Idk about that I think he's like most of us. We have people that we like/like us and others that don't particularly care for us. I guess I guess I really shouldn't of even said that either way.

Spence would probably not argue over this as he is like most canadians, polite and avoid confrontation when possible. Also why enter an argument that neither side is going to win or change anything. Here is another article from one of your leaders:

If you're going to continue to not be polite and stay out of a confrontation that has nothing to do with your country then the very least you could do is speak French, your argument maybe invaild, your facts maybe factious, your opinions maybe pompous and magniloquent, but you'll sound far more continental and isn't that truely the real measure of a man or a societies worth?

FFXI and this forum did a world of good for my attitude towards Americans.

I don't like being looked down on just because I'm Canadian, but I realize those who do are a minority.

I don't know what this is even about anymore. America is cool because they just handed me machine guns to shoot with no training or anything!

In my experience Americans mostly just like to make fun of Canada and Canadians where as I think a lot of Canadians genuinely dislike Americans mostly for political issues. Then again there are a lot of Americans who hate Americans for political reasons.. the anti-American attitude is just too hip to pass up in the past decade for some.

This is coming from someone with both Canadian and American family members. Obviously I'm generalizing.

I didn't. I said I guarantee I take responsibility and the safety of my family just as seriously, or potentially more seriously, than you do. And that's probably true. However, since you made a point of that behavior being "asinine", you should pull out a mirror and see if you have a donkey's face. Because when you said this:
you said:
when you have more responsibilities than making dynamis on time, some of these things will be more evident to you.
that's basically what you did. Presumed that I don't have responsibilities, or implied that, if I do have responsibilities, that I must not take them seriously (or "not care" about my family) if I don't tote a piece. Be sure to get a good dental insurance plan. Donkeys have terrible teeth.

wow man, you should run for governor

Pfft! This is The United States America, not Nazi Germany,China, Soviet Russia,or any other sh!thole that disarms it's citizens.

2nd Amendment of the U.S constitution....nuff said.

No one,not even congress can take that away.

So your argument is MOOT Elanabelle.

Lol

1. The US has tons of laws concerning the who/what/where/why of firearms.

2. I guess not having fully government funded health care = zero healthcare, right?

3. I went to pre-school, kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high school, parts of three different colleges, and over a dozen technical schools. My high school sent me to study in Europe. I have student loans. And I have received some scholarship and grant money. All in the US. Ooops I mean apparently on Mars.

4. US Tax Code

5. The Canada Act (1982) Britain kicked us out - and by "us" I mean a country that wasn't even 40 years removed from being British itself.
