They simplified the game as a whole. Even relics aren't that difficult to make anymore.

There are people every day who make a lot of currency from the new Dynamis Areas without having to spend a single dime, Abyssea NM's are nothing to be proud of either. Easy content with good rewards is all it is. A trophy is a trophy, even Empyreans are trophy items. That's how a completionist would view it anyways.

Whatever happens in the end, will happen. It's not even a question of what's out right now since everything is a side-grade, upgrade. I do however, hope that relics see some more love in the near future of this game. As currently they have received squat, and not much worth noting on any reliable level, while Mythics and Empyreans continue to gain.

LOL ace's and askar WS in gnadbod's and osode never used hachi gear but gear changes as does weapons no more hagun, Masa now no more ace's af3+2 no more osode fazheluo mail now, talk ***about my sam best know how i was geared. And my point is still in here things change nothing is best forever. But since game is 5 away from max level emps will stay til ff has 0 people left on it.

You can do Carabosse/Cirein-croin trial in two days easily, which is the bulk of it. I assume you're including NM/VNM trials beforehand and whatnot though.

Also, on Amano: I have Masamune and I'd gladly drop it and never be allowed to obtain one again for an Amano instead.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing a transition as things advance. For instance, empyreans slowly becoming harder and harder to advance. While relics are a bit easier. Depending on how hard these plates are, I wouldn't be surprised if that transition has already started. Seeing as from what I understand the relics 90-95 are fairly easy. While empys will most likely require a good amount of Gil.

Anyway Emp real ez to get Masa was done in 4 days with 4 ppl and Amano is junk that's why you see no one using one it doesn't compare put some str on it like 50 then maybe i'd make one.

Not defending him or anything but askar wasn't bad when /drg :< 26% haste, hit the sweet dex spot with it :3 iirc that is, been forever.

If it shaved a hit off your x-hit and you could cap accuracy without it, it was a viable option. But for most things that mattered, I think I was using Turban/Haub+1/Dusk+1/Haidate/Usukane Feet. Obviously not everybody had Dusk+1 and Usu feet though, but Ace's was always crap, unless your accuracy was REALLY hurting, like a THF mob.

Byrnie +1 when attack is uncapped. Kirin's Osode when attack is capped. Twilight Mail would be an upgrade to Osode, of course. F. Radiant Mail beats both regardless of situation.
