I might try it out someday, I tried a long time ago and quit at lvl 34 cause I hated it and was bored. Has it changed any since 3 years? lol

I've played it a few times. The 4.0 patch though has made it much more enjoyable, to me, at least.

Guess I'll wait for this new expansion or w/e to try it a bit. Not quitting FFXI, just something new to try. Is that new expansion suppose to change the graphics for the entire game? I haven't read on it at all

I totally LOVE the goblins!!!!! I played a goblin int he beta and fell in love with it! Their starting area is completely unique from anything else..and omg (yes, i'm in girl mode now)...i want to be a goblin shaman...just because the totems are that bad *** looking!!

I have a soft spot for trolls though. they always have been and always will be my favorite. but there's so much in that game i want to do and try. goblin shaman, troll warlock, something mage...oh. and troll druid..because their druid forms are awesome. let's not forget tauren pally...although, i'm afraid i would be a fail pally or warrior. hence why i've never tried them before. But wogen..i want to do priest or mage. My hubby has an 80 priest on horde side already...so it wouldn't hurt if i did priest on alli for shits and giggles.

goblin mage has some burst dmg to it but i rather go troll mage since im still undead atm i do love the free pvp trinket undead gets troll and goblin to me are more pve oriented troll is the only horde race that has a free pvp trinket to it unlike all of the alliance lol and troll gets free haste and combat regen goblin gets rocket boots and use money to deal more dmg >.>

My mage is a Blood Elf. I like trolls but not as a mage, they don't look good in robes to me.

I care about looks, I don't really care about PvP at all, so no race is better than the others to me. Unless of course they are pretty =D

i care about the utility of the race lol i pvped a wholelot leveling my mage so the free fear break was nice lol now i pve alot so hey free haste is always fun when yuo need to blow something up quick

I get free haste from Lifeblood. So I don't mind not having it.

Wow has been dispatched today, another 3-4 days as it's coming from the USA.

Couldn't you have just bought it digitally from the blizzard website?

They region lock your account so you can't buy US stuff if your not in US I think.

I know earlier there was discussion about the server list based off region. I know in the trial version it had tabs for the other regions (three regions total? Is that right?).

I think so. North America, Europe, Oceanic. I think that's it.

I'll have to check that out.

I know when I set it up I could check what region I wanted, but after that initial load up it's stuck with NA.

Not sure if I can change it, gimme a minute and I'll check.

I know the region-lock is a *** on SC2 (I actually have two blizzard accounts).

Can't an EU player sign in and check on the lock? It should take all of 30-45 seconds to find out if the tabs are there.

Yeah once I took a look at it I do have the option to change Realm (kinda)

Obviously it's still limited in the sense that in the USA I can only get those three while I'm sure the EU one would have completely different ones.

Well when Dale and I were trying to get on the same server(He has the UK copy) I made a chara on the server he's on but it said he was not there.

So I'm guessing there may be a UK version of each US server, but you cannot switch between the two.

Unless of course I have missed something.

Sucks though, should just merge em so UK and US players could play togeether, might be fun.

I can understand the separation. But I believe you should be able to still play with one another.

By the way, my trial char (level 5 hunter) is on Azuremyst. Don't expect to see me online anytime soon though. I'm still pushing my way through Fallout 3 (main quest line done).

Yeah, that is the one thing I really did like about FFXI (then again I also hated it sometimes cause of the stereotpying retards)

Would definitly be nice since not all US players play during NA peak hours (and then again, the player base is VERY diverse in the sense of age groups)


Yeah I would love to be able to choose europe, but the only way I see of doing that is to actually make a EU battlenet account.

There might be a way to ... change (alter?) your realm list (I haven't looked into that though, don't plan to) but I doubt Blizzard would be too thrilled with that if they found you altering what is basically your account to gain access to a server they obviously don't want you to go to.

Lying to Bliz about your information is enough to get you banned.
I've heard something about that before, not sure how true it was.
