not original though , there was some late 80s early 90s live action movie with same premise no clue of name though.

It came out right after Wing (like was the series after...idk how many years the animators took between them). It was really good.. the backstory was that the colonies actually did a "colony drop" and collided with Earth in the war. And created a huge nuclear winter, so to speak. And the year is (i believe...been awhile since I watched it), AW (after war) 17. And the main character is Garod Ran. Good stuff really. Has the whole "new type" thing in there, where new types are like "super human". Good stuff.

Now i've bin haivng trouble trying to convince my gf's mom's bf that goku could destroy superman. What do you think? Anyhting goes, except kryptonite and blowing up the sun because everyone knows Goku wouldnt turn down a good fight. Also Spirit Bomb wont work because superman is kind hearted.
