My drawing skills weren't good enough :/ I had a couple ideas, but when I tried them they looked bad!

Oh no, (for me) that's perfectly fine (to keep it as-is.) ^^ A week is a week no matter how it's spaced out. I personally wouldn't be more likely to submit before deadline anyhow (the evil of procrastination, lah!) >.>;;
It's all about sharing and having fun anyhow, so a end-of-week vote is the same no matter what day, so might as well keep it on Saturday!

It wasn't a bad idea, it's just a bad time for these things what with everybody playing 14 or doing abyysea. I actually started a submission but it really sucked so I scrapped it lol :3

They say in a long forgotten world (C.E. 98, Pre-Walahra Era) adventurers once wore a hat which I believe was named "The Optical Hat".
This is my interpretation of what it once looked like.

I believe this is exactly what that hat looked like, beans and scouter included. Good interpretation!

The ugliest FFXI gear, made BETTER with paint! "Blinged up!"
Okay here's a try at something different... I want you to find the UGLIEST GEAR IN GAME that you think is out there... and BLING IT UP! Make it look adorable, nice, flattering, Epic, ETC (please don't be too obscene with it...) And to top it off, put it on your character, or some other FFXI character model type. From Taru to Galka, whatever you chose, make it look awesome compared to its UN-BLINGED OUT SELF.
Example: I know a LOOOT of people are pretty sad by the pink doublet set.... how would you make that look better?
Or take it a step further... what would the game look like if capes really showed? Or belts? OR SINCE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT BLING... Fashion off those pretty earrings, rings, and what have you.
JUST HAVE FUN WITH GEAR AND WHAT IT COULD BE!!! :D
Official rules:
1. Only MS Paint is allowed for submitted entries.
2. Use IMG tags to post your submission, no URLs please.
3. If you want to play, submit your entry in a reply.
4. Try to post at least one work in progress (WIP) along with your entry.
5. No voting for yourself.
6. To vote for someone post a reply saying "I vote for [Name in Bold]"
7. No submitting old works from the original MS Paint Challenges! Should a subject that you did a work for in the last challenge arise, please use a fresh idea!
8. Entry submissions open Sunday, voting ends the following Saturday.
