NMs really are your best bet for most cases instead of doing the quests, especially "An Offer You Can't Refuse". Oh yes, I damn well can!

I know a person who went over 30 hours in Abyssea and never saw a piece of malachite whereas I was in a small party that obtained 2 in a few hours. (Still a terrible drop rate but much better).

yea, thats what my ls has been doing, got my cuissots +1 from camping manohra, and we've been trying to split time between farming feet and doing nms for more seals now

Was ready to pull my hair out after I found out DRG had a 2nd seal quest that involved chests...sadly it has to be an actual item and not some /random key item....
