I was looking through the weapons for my CON a while ago and noticed a set of wands that reminded me of the Elemental Staves from XI.

Maple Wand of Flames, Tides, Gales, Storms, Tremors and Frost.

Each of them have:

Damage Types
Name Element 80%
Other Element 10%
Another Element 10%

I'm curious, will this give a damage boost to the respective element? I'm curious to know before I go out, farm to get the money for them and end up spending a lot of excess cash on nothing~

Yes, that's how Conjurer and Thaumaturge weapons work. All weapons have their elemental properties, and using these nukes will give a damage bonus. The Elemental ones are practically the same as Elemental Staves.

Will it be worth getting more than 1 or 2 though, seeing as you can't change them mid battle?

I was thinking maybe like Lightning and Ice, depending on mob weakness or resistance. Once we have that all figured out.

You've also got the problem they're a third upgrade of their weapon type.
Maple Wand > Budding Maple Wand > Wand of __element__

As it stands right now with 20 carpentry I wouldn't even try to make the final weapon. And nobody is really going to buy the budding wand (which takes 16+? 24+?) botony to regularly harvest the humus for.

I'm not sure what growth formula gamma takes to get but I imagine it is going to be a bigger pain that just using a willow wand.
