Rick Sanchez fired from CNN~
I wanna see Glenn Beck get fired from Fox...
Phoenix.Kojo said: I wanna see Glenn Beck get fired from Fox... Article Source? And good riddance to bad rubbish. I lost all respect for him when he said "cotton-picking" in context to Obama.
Rick is a douche-bag and should have put himself on that list.
"Drunk driving On December 10, 1990, Sanchez struck a drunken pedestrian, Jeffrey Smuzinick, with his car on a residential street near Dolphin Stadium (then known as Joe Robbie Stadium) and left the scene, returning two hours later.[13] Smuzinick was paralyzed and eventually died in an assisted living facility on November 2, 1995.[14] Sanchez had just left the NFL football game between the Miami Dolphins and the Philadelphia Eagles with his father when the accident occurred. Police breathalyzer results determined that Sanchez's blood alcohol level was above the legal limit for driving. He was not charged with causing the accident, but was charged with and pleaded no contest to driving under the influence (DUI).[15]" Rick_Sanchez Seraph.Rafik said: Rick is a douche-bag and should have put himself on that list. It seems the GOP's primary strategy is to surround themselves with representatives that call the opposing party a bunch of meanie head poopie pants while bringing virtually nothing to the table themselves.
Wonder how that's working out for them... Wonder how that's working out for them... pretty well, unfortunately Yah, I saw this previously on MSNBC...
http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/39464138/ns/today-entertainment/ ...the news article above has a link with a much longer version of Dominick's radio show excerpt. If you listen to the whole thing you get more of an idea what he's on about (even if it is just being overly-sensitive.) Oh well, I honestly think Sanchez never watches *any* of the Comedy Central shows, to be so surprised how comedians make fun of people. Really...it's just unfortunate how thin-skinned he is, or alternatively how he doesn't think much about what he is saying. The MSNBC story implied at the time that the chances were strong he wouldn't lose his position at CNN entirely (he had only lost his 8pm time slot for his show "Rick's List" I think) as he would then likely/definitely play the race card and claim discrimination. Shiva.Daimos said: Phoenix.Kojo said: I wanna see Glenn Beck get fired from Fox... lol fox news Shiva.Daimos said: Phoenix.Kojo said: I wanna see Glenn Beck get fired from Fox... Ebert and Roper gave this comment 2 thumbs up... I read the whole thing listened to him speak, and started laughing. He mentions his parents had to bust their *** off, and that no one can relate to that.
First off someone being Jewish has a whole bunch of up bringing just like his dad did, or parents who busted their arses. Most people came to the united states to make a better life for themselves, so what he was discussing was moot. I just hate it when people like him open their fat mouths, making no sense. I can say more but I will stop right here, unless I have to. Aww screw the news. You only need it for the weather forecast and they still manage to be wrong 50% of the time. xD
"If you do not read the news, you are uninformed. If you read the news, you are misinformed." Believe Ben Frank wrote that. He shouldn't have gotten fired. People can't have opinions? CNN blantently lies about half the ***they report/half report/biasedly report. Give me a break.
Jon Stewart is also an idiot and a clown. His target audience are morons who don't understand politics but watch his show because they like the pseudo-intellectual bull ***he talks about. He makes jokes that are terrible, he takes everything out of context, and he misses the complete point of the news. Which I guess is good, cause I don't think his viewers could really understand the news anyways. Phoenix.Excelior said: He shouldn't have gotten fired. People can't have opinions? I would rather get real information then bits and pieces of stories. If you honestly think that what Jon Stewart does is news then you're a highly misinformed American and I feel very bad for your ignorance. He is a comedian and nothing more. I guess I can't blame Jon Stewart. Jon knows he's a comedian, its the dumb Americans who take him out of context. Oh and yea, based on his education vs mine I'd say I probably and more informed than him. On a resume I would certainly be more qualified for news lol. Anyways, that argument is neither here nor there. Phoenix.Excelior said: Bahamut.Jetackuu said: Phoenix.Excelior said: He shouldn't have gotten fired. People can't have opinions? How are you going to measure Jon or my ability to do so? Even if you could IQ tests are inherintely inaccurate. I don't think you can prove somebody is smarter than somebody else. You can prove the difference between superficial knowledge and substansive knowledge. That's a function of education. I'm clearly better educated than he is. I think you should edit your post with a better response. Ok not hate, but there is a time when you should just shut up. Sanchez is a moron and got exactly what he deserved.
He'll probably get a job offer from Faux News in less than a month. Moral of the story, if Jon Stewart takes a shot at you, it's best to laugh, which is his desired response. Getting bent about a comedian's jibe, even if he's an influential comedian, is just stupid. Also, Excelior, once again I wish my blacklist feature would also block your posts when someone else quotes them. IQ tests are not inherently inaccurate. They are the gold standard for quantifying intelligence. Arguing against the validity of IQ tests is like arguing that Paladin is not the best-suited tank role in FFXI, or arguing against Toyota and Honda as the most reliable automobile brands. You can state your anti-establishment opinion, and you're entitled to it, but that doesn't mean you aren't dead wrong. whos rick sanchez?
