So I f'd up and registered my onion helm under my beta account so when i created my character he did not have it. Anyone know a work around so I can get it? If not, I am not to shook up over it and will get on without it.
You need to contact customer support so you can link your beta service account to your retail service account. - The only way you'll get your helmet.

I dunno, it's probably gone since you can only use the code once per account. It's probably not a big deal though considering you'll end up wearing other head gear. Unless you REALLY like the way it looks.

Naa, Like I said. Square Enix will give you another registration code so you can re-do the process but instead of making a new service account, you'll link this one to your beta account. You'll have your Onion Helm afterwards.

That would be stupid to have to have it equipped at death
what would be even more stupid is if it didn't work unless it was at 100% durability and you had to wear it when you died.
I figured you'd have to wear it when you died, as it's a noob item to get people going faster. Once you have a few levels and some better knowledge under your belt (and better gear), assumedly you won't die as often (they don't know me very well) and won't worry about the shorter weakened time.
