It definitely exists. Not every mother experiences it and I think it's wrong to claim it caused ***like this if they don't have it. It is real though, and when you suffer from it, you do stupid ***.
I know I got one myself, I just didnt killed my son or abandonned him.But I was 1 damn sad woman.

There's not really a good way to predict what a person with it will do, though. If this girl did have it, yeah it sucks to use it as an excuse, but it would be legitimate. Everyone does ***different and reacts to things differently.
I totally agree with you, that why I said I wont judge her caus I dont know her life situation.I know that in extrem desesperate situation ppl can do desesperate actions.

Really late response, but had I found that baby I woulda totally taken it and raised it as my own :D

I'd be like, "Son/Daughter, I found you abandoned and took you in because you were perfect!"

Woulda been sweet, but I'm still disappointed the mother did that :|
