I haven't been playing much but in reference to Hyshio's issue.
During the Closed Beta stage by default my right analog (camera view)
Would only move left and right and not up and down...


Mind you I'm usin one of Radio Shack's PC controller (PS2 style)
When I found gamepad settings (i had the english patch then but believe there a thorough guide to get to it otherwise)

And when I calibrated the right analog stick it started to work fine.
Didn't have any issues from here one thing though I did remember you had to save that you did it....couldnt just back out otherwise it would revert itself back to default....


As for an English Patch...they seem to have partial of it done but the patch itself isn't ready yet....they did files differently then they did with Closed Beta

I'm actually surprised you're having that much trouble with the 360 controller for that game seeing that i heard lil to no issues about 360 controllers during the Closed Beta if anything it was other type of PC controllers (like mine)

I'd say if going into the calibration set up (where it ask you do do similiar to how ffxi does "Press Up and Press A" etc)

Then i'd recommend going to pso-world.com and ask there.
Alot of friendly people that should have an answer for you

yea I tried all of that and it seems no one really knows or cares on there. I might have to do a clean wipe of the game and maybe not fool with the calibration at all in order for it to work.

Its also not one of those official microsoft wired ones. Its Licenced but yea it could be an issue with that or something.

Unofficial one's always have a problem. The Wired Xbox 360 controller official PC or Xbox type it works on both.

I saw a thread somewhere that many third party "console" controllers (madCatz for example) normally w/o the proper driver (most don't have an "official" driver seeing that they designed for console and not PC) they tend to have issues with alot of PC games....

If you don't feel like buying a Wired official 360 controller you could get the Radio Shack PC controller (PS2 style) like the one I own. it works fine...only thing that didn't work by default was that the right analog wouldnt move up and down for camera but caliberation config setting easily changed that... it's 15.99 at my store so should be the same there.....


Or....Bestbuy has GenericLogitech PC controller for 24.99 that should also work...



I've been told from a couple of people if the controller itself wasn't actually designed for PC then have to find a driver for said controller.

Thats why since the 360 came out the wired one was always known as the "Universal" controller since as long as the game is up to date with controller config....Wired 360 controller where just simple plug and play for any game since it had the microsoft drivers preinstalled in it

Actually thought i had the same problem as hyshio when i tried my ps3 controller, but for some reason it was using the tilting thing as the R analog.

The true caves boss is one hell overpowered dragon. 3rd form can easily one shot you if he uses all his energy on his fire blast. Which is really hard to dodge unless your directly under him. Plus he can combo attack.

PSO2 is recieving a huge game update. New planets and mobs.

I am wanting to cut myself waiting for English patch. If this game wasn't so addicting, I would stop playing it til it came out. I'm actually of thinking of going back to work today since I have nothing else to do but play PSO.

I learned that there is a Cross Burst. It's triggered what is called PSE Burst but I don't know exactly how to for both of them but they appear with alot of people killing mobs. Cross Burst makes mobs spawn soon one dies endlessly till it's over. With more people killing the more that show up. The Exp is HUGE if that happens.

Stay at your point and keep killing the mobs. They're absolutely endless and it may give you another minute if you get alot of kills. I already learned the best Exp points.

I just want an english patch :( not being able to understand anything just bugs me to no end lol.

The dev of english patch is having alot of trouble. Still needs to break the encryption.
