Looking For A Good Synth Compass Pic To Use

I know this is old, can anyone post up or post a few synthing compass to go by... if possible?

Here is the one that I use. It is relatively simple.

From what i understand Its mostly just superstition, a lot of iffy tests but nothing ever proven.

Its a known fact Moon Phase has an impact on Fishing, So thats why most people cling to the theory that there might be other contributing factors to crafting than we know.

there has been no solid evidence that Direction/Day has a profound impact on crafting, However, Theres never any harm in trying.

I personally believe its all random, but i still face the right direction just out of superstition, If it has no impact theres no harm in trying, if it does then i'm just helping myself!

So If i use an earth crystal on thundersday and face south... ill get good HQ results?

I call superstition aswell, it just seems so indepth to be true lol. But, saying that id give it a go if i understood any of the compass stuff.

I'm a multi high level crafter myself. personally the best way is test stuff yourself & go with what works best for you.
what works for one doesn't always work for another but at end of the day its random.

Meh I have seen test. Sure they only did a few hundred but cmon. And all I know is before doing goldsmithing skillups sucked since then. Do all subs and doing more goldsmithing and talking to others who continue to get sucky skillups I'd say I'll stick to using it. Cause somethign is working.

I seem to get more skillups on Darksday.

If you are using an earth crystal and going for HQ, you are best off crafting on Windsday while facing southeast.

Google "Directions During Crafting" 1st link should be to a forum, scroll down, find a pic of a compass+other information, make it your wallpaper, minimize FFXI whenever you are about to craft, ???, PROFIT.

Totally unproven. Crafting is all luck and until some definitive proof comes along saying otherwise it will remain the same. I HQ'd Dusk Gloves 1/5 while facing in no particular direction, on no particular day, during no particular weather, during no specific moon phase, while not doing the HQ dance, and I certainly did not have my HQ undies on.

Well all I can say is, it probably DOES somehow make a difference. However ... it probably won't be that big of a difference.
All I can say is that it usually does help me when I'm trying to HQ something. As for what to use, I find the crafting timer the easiest.
