The puppetmaster ability "Deus Ex Automata" will be added.
- Deus Ex Automata (PUP Lv.5 / Ability Delay: 1 min.)

Just what it says.

To me it sounds like a way to call forth your automaton in an unsound state.

Or if you don't understand that. It will bring out your automaton with high chances of it overloading, used for if your auto has died. It could save your life.

I was more thinking of a weakened automaton( low hp mp) till activate is up.Something like that.

YEa - broken, ill, sick, but also untrusty unreliably, brute stupid, illogical. While deus ex /mashinima) means 1. In Greek and Roman drama, a god lowered by stage machinery to resolve a plot or extricate the protagonist from a difficult situation.
2. An unexpected, artificial, or improbable character, device, or event introduced suddenly in a work of fiction or drama to resolve a situation or untangle a plot.
3. A person or event that provides a sudden and unexpected solution to a difficulty.

Sounds to me like PUP's can now call a automaton that can go rogue ;). Is it just me or does that not sound awesome?

In french this ja is translated by "Emergency measure", and the description says you will call an automaton damaged.

For me it's an other way to Activate your automaton (like when the timer is not ready) but it's sound strange cause the recast delay is 1 min only...
But if it's true, its like if we have an automaton full time, no more worry about DoT when the automaton take a dia/bio/poison just in the same second you wanted to depop it xD
Add the bonus on oils... and you will never be w/o automaton \o/

"Deus Ex Automata" translates to something like "God of Automatons". So its functionality is pretty obvious considering the 1min recast, meaning you will never be without a pet. And considering it says Unsound (defective), my guess is that it will spawn with like 50% HP/MP or something, still a super handy JA when activate is not fully charged.

I...wait, what.
Anyway, it's most likely going to be something for when your automaton takes damage, then you deactivate him. There will almost certainly be some kind of penalty to calling your automaton this way, though.

Copypasta from the page, doesn't really sound like it will be like that. Unsound could mean a number of things, but usually its connotations are negative

I didn't really read the ability description to be honest. I happened to be talking about overuse of deus ex machina plot devices in a certain series just the other day and when I saw the topic title I couldn't resist.
No prob bob :)

It could be, who knows? It has an oddly short recast for a "call automaton" type ability, so it just might do something damage-dealy like that.

An unsound Automaton could be one without Attachements, or one that dont allows Maneuovers.

I think the only thing this ability does is temporary summons your automaton to cast a spell or perform a ws and then it deactivates itself.
