Was curious which spells we could convert to single target from AOE by turning backwards. I'm most interested in if Filamented Hold does this, but curious about our other spells as well. About to ding 64 and then planning on doing Cape Terrigan FoV. I would like to use Filamented Hold over Sprout Smack for the increased slow while soloing, but don't wanna have to worry about aggroing other mobs and getting my *** kicked...

I didn't think you could. I've never seen it, and I've used cone spells backwards lots of times. Maybe someone else will know.
Though Filament hold is probably rather MP intensive to put on every mob...

Filmament hold is really easy to point and only hit what you want most the time anyways. I'd say it's actually harder to try and hit multiple targets than not

Yeah, I forgot Filamented Hold was fan shaped and not around the caster lol. Usually just use Sprout Smack since its cheap and single target.

All conal moves, including physical ones I believe. Simply face away from the mob you're casting on and that's the only one you'll hit.

Use Sub-Zero smash and it should hit multiple targets even if you are facing away. The area you're facing shouldn't mean ***as the cone is based on the mob's position and not yours. For example, if you're fighting two mos that are lined up, and you use a conal AoE on the second in line, you won't hit the first in the line since the cone starts on the target and extends back and out from that point.

I was under the impression Sub-Zero Smash was radial, not conal.
