You should notice a "block" link on every forum post. Clicking it will completely hide posts made by that user or character.
I made a simple block list manager that lists the people you block and the ability to unblock them. It will appear on the members menu as "Block List". I plan on making this page more powerful but it should be sufficient for now. Edit: You can now add characters or usernames from the block list page.

This was done after many, many requests for this feature by users. Both in suggestion threads and over PM's. We will likely be leaning on it fairly heavily to solve user complaints.
Note that it does not hide other people quoting the person you blocked. I raised this as a problem in the suggestion threads, and users decided this wasn't a big enough deal to warrant blocking the entire feature.

The blist page shows the block function if i click show OP it has a little hide button on it...but nothing past that blist page :/

Will this block be account wide? Like if someone were to block me, would they not be able to see posts by my Asura, Carbuncle, and general account, or do they have to block each individually?

What effect will it have on a thread starter? Is someone I have blocked creates a thread, will it never show up? Or will the second post look like the OP to me?
