Wrong Password??

OK so im trying to log into the game which ive been having

trouble in doing so since last night, it pretty much would

take FOREVER to log when it decided it felt like it, otherwise

it would juts hang on "verifying PlayOnline ID and Password"

screen. And when it DID log on, it would lag HORRIBLY. But

now im getting the error that either my PlayOnline

ID, PlayOnline password, or one-time use password are

incorrect. So immediately im like ffffuuuuuuu-... but i decide

to see if ive been jacked by logging into linkshell community

website with my ID n password n it works just fine... WTF???

are you a TalkTalk subscriber if so they have a thread for that :/

nope, nowhere near the UK

Reset your router or use another way to get a new IP-address. Worked fine for me.

He just really has to bypass it :/
Bypass router, see if it gets online good, rewire it back in and it should still work :/
edit:at least if the issue is with the IP address specifically i should say.

Hm ok sounds like a good idea culd try getting new IP, BUT how

do i do that? i use a USB 3G modem so i dont have a router :/

don't use usb.
unless you are one of those randoms that doesn't have a network card on their pc and doesn't have any ethernet cables.
or it is usb only? if so that's stupid.

my pc does have ethernet, but USB is all i have available

right now and ive been playing for about a year on USB

connection n its worked just fine

yeah usb isn't the most reliable thing to use.
i'd say get an ethernet cable.
it's not all that expensive, bet your ISP would be able to hook you up with one even.

n my internet works perfect everything loads high-speed like

it should. its just playonline malfunctioning right now thats

giving me that wrong password error message...

In the long run I'd not recommend ethernet, but really i'd say powercycle the modem.
leave it unplugged for about a few minutes, usually I have people unplug the modem and just run a shut down, usually thats enough time to wait.
so unplug modem, shut down pc, plug modem back in boot it back up try again?
if it doesn't work there it's probably gonna be something weird.

i live in Venezuela n its a little bit more complicated to get

high speen internet through ethernet from an ISP and ive been

too lazy to do it so ive been hanging with 3G USB for a while

now...

lol ive done that about 50 times alredy since

yesterday...nothing

damn that kinda blows, my other recommendation still stands though.
edit: i really can't say for sure what it would be then.
don't really know enough about it when you get to that point, maybe someone else will pick up on this and help out.

but if the modem were the problem, wouldnt that affect my

internet as well? the problem im having is that PlayOnline

tells me my password is wrong...when its not. So how does my

modem affect that?
