I didn't honestly notice that, then yeah it's over kill. Just Sorce boots would have been enough, and get some AP+HP items. And the abyssal sceptor was fine just in general for some AP with Magic resist on it *Some people find it a useless item unless you are amumu, Kass, and champs that will be up close and personal with it.. but meh it's not bad if needed in situations*
Regardless Veigar is gonna get a ***ton of AP anyways. Regardless he won, but yes there was other optional builds.

That has to be the worst logic I've ever heard in this game. You build AP so you're useful as an AP carry. Veigar's ult does 1.4k+ regardless of AP if he's farmed as well as he should be. He's an Anti-AP.

By your logic right there, APs are anti-everything. See what I did there?
His role is to burst down an AP especially since he does more damage to them obviously, but he can burst down any carries, like carries can do.
Build Rabadons on APs always. If a Veigar is on the other team, you just need to have good engages on your carries or else he'll insta-kill them.
Your job as an AP is to build AP to help you kill things faster. Rabadons is the item that will always do that. Should always make it as a second or third item, regardless of the other team.
Only AP that that doesn't apply to is Ryze, who counters Veigar.

yup, just got him and going to try him out
he's pretty cool~ he's kinda a bit harder to play than the other range carries cuz his q is such a narrow lined skillshot but other than that he's pretty fun
his q has lots of potential poke...

If a group of 5 is chasing him now he cannot escape forever. But he can do enough dmg to them all and get away far enough for his team mates to clean up. I see it time and time again. Pop your Shurelyia, pop ghost throw down a E put a W on the guy who's keeping up with ya *except yi's can not be slowed **** they take dmg as he kites them to safety now the all got some hits on them here and there. Used up most of their abilities to take him down. Your team come in as they are all grouped up.. boom 1 to 5.. I'll take that

Why would Soraka want to go on that team anyway? They have an Evelynn. :|
I gave Akali a second shot after sucking with her, and did well. Then my team and I collectively threw the game and ruined everything. Stupid facechecking bushes with Nunu and no stuns.
She plays like Katarina only far better sustain but mainly single target damage. On the bright side she can 1v1 a wide variety of champs easily.

Well I currently have her AP/damage bonus passive activate at level 3 I think, I use AP/level glyphs+quints. I use magic penetration marks. Would it be viable to just use flat AD quints?

you could cuz her passive is pretty gnarly. but its up to your play style. i know my friend who plays akali a lot has 9 magic pen marks, ad quints and ap glyph/seals. (pre runes update) he'll prolly update it again when he has the time. but ya you could do that and activate both her passives.
