Angel Skins Dropped From 800k+ To 170

as the thread say's huge price drop on my server.

is there any reason for this other than undercutting.

Angel Skin now comes from chests in abyssea not mention it's probably overly farmed in kuftal tunnel.

It's weird, everyone likes to make money, of course. But time after time after time, the methods of making money just keep getting trashed. Or at least everything I try. I am half afraid that before long, people will be NPCing elemental ores, dragon meat, etc.

same thing is happening with woodworking cursed items (shura haidate and togi) because divine logs are dropping like flies from chests in Abyssea. Look at Quetzy's cursed togi stock and prices as an example.

Also cannot forget that with the addition of new gear some of the Hecatomb pieces (the primary reason for angel skin sales) have been over shadowed. No sence in crafting them if people arent going to buy the end product.

Almost as good as hecatomb sublinger without the need to camp Nidhogg or do einherjar.

angel skin is down to 200 median, last sold at 180 on my server -_-.
crafters are making a killing on it though, they still sell the orbs at like 80k+, so they get like 300+ profit crafting lol.

tbh leveling jobs right now is the best tiem of my life =)

also, for now i prefer old gearsets then the new ones (mainly cuz 1. cheaper/easier to obtain 2. better then the crap i got currently 3. new crap is still expensive as hell so gonna wait for prices to drop cuz everyone has it.

There is always 2 sides to it. The other side is cheaper cursed -1 items, cheaper Hq staves, cheaper red curry buns, etc.

There are always ways to make gil, its just not as easy as you want it to be.

That isn't what I mean, if that's directed towards me. Of course there's ways to make money - I just seem to chase them away!

What I mean is that is that I don't like it because it's getting easier/cheaper. I can always make money, of course, since the economy is largely self contained. The cheapness of things is just a symptom.

The skins, for example. You could spend a few hours fishing, or, one will just drop in one of the 10,000 boxes you see while getting 1,000,000 xp. Windy is too far away? Well, here, we found a moogle that will zap you right there! Too hard to skillup dagger? There's a kupower for that, too!

I want things to be challenging. The way I see it, everyone running around in full Usu is the same as everyone running around in Lizard Armor.

On the other hand... There's still a ton of things that I am struggling to get done, so maybe probably I am preemptively angry.

Soon I will make Cursed Beverage and use that abjuration I have had since my first Sky fight.

They just made it so that now those bot fisherman that NPC their fish at a rate of 150k/day are even richer.
