I went for 4hours last night in abssyea and was doing 60k/hr.
I left , slept, went to work and came back to my ls still going lol.
They are doing 600 xp / kill and popped out over 750k+ Xp.
So i am jumping in and getting some more xp :D

Basically when you have chained well enough and with a bunch of people and have all these "light levels" your Azure chests start dropping time stones for extensions.
People have xp alliances there all night, leveling all their jobs to 80 at a rate of 60-80k/hr.

The best exp (Up to 94k/hr) comes from the Crapaudy in Abyssea-La'Theine in the very south-eastern most region near the outpost/conflux there.
Crapaudy(Toads) have low hp and use no TP moves.

I was with Low at the time. Went from 76-80, plus capped level 80 and got halfway through a merit, between last night and this morning. And I could have stayed longer, except I only used 2 stones this morning instead of 3. It's easily the best xp I've ever had, not to mention the funnest! Makes me want to send SE delicious cookies. :D

We can't seem to get past feeble azure light on the mandy mobs...What are we doing wrong?
Pashypodims(mandys) are a great xp too theres alot of them and u can get 2 o 3 pops for the nm to get a thew Bomblet its 51.6% of drop rate and for ppl that dont have alot of money u can sell it for like 2m
We're getting a LOT of the pops, just can't get past azure light. We want to get huge amounts of exp, but can't seem to cut it.
I did this a few nights back with a group of 18 other people. We were in there for 3 hours and got 60k+ in xp. I logged out for the night, came back to get some gear and still had 87 mins left.

is your group killing the mobs with magic, i heard thats what it takes to get the good exp/blue chests going
Possibly a stupid question... but has anyone tried going into abyssea with a lower level job... say 65ish. Since the exp seems to be more like a drop from the nm and not actually getting xp for killing it. Because if you could... that'd be pretty awsome :3. 60-100k/hour pts on a lowish job...
You have to be level 70+ to get in to abyssea I think.
Also, anyone tried out a plain mana burn party in here? Just wondering if it would be good since magic kills are needed to get those awesome chests and what not.

Anyone on sylph get me in one of these.
30+ to get into Abyssea, but exp scales down. I'm not sure how much for lower levels, but I know 79 gets -5 per kill compared to 80, another -5 for 78, etc. I'm not sure if it's linear or not...
Either way I want to try it with my WHM60... it might be slow to start but even if I'm getting 1/4th of the exp it's still in the exp party range (give or take, assuming we stay long enough).
It's kinda crazy to me that it's easier to get a full alliance out in abyssea than it was to get a full party and find an open camp (not that doing that is hard, but getting an abyssea alliance seems easier atm).

Well xp camps are easier in Abyssea since the faster you kill the faste they pop.
