BLU/SAM Bug, Or Does SE Really Love Us?

Ok so I was messing around as blu/sam (lv80) killing lesser colibri's with my friend. Since so many people were asking me about it, I decided to test out sekkanoki with chain affinity. Let's say I was pleasantly surprised. <.<

Ok so I did sekkanoki chain affinity, casted disseverment with 200ish tp. What I noticed after... well sekkanoki did indeed reduce the TP cost of my CA spell to 100 tp, but... the effect of sekkanoki was STILL UP.

So thinkin maybe I saw it wrong, I tried again with 300 tp. Here's how it went. Chain affinity, sekkanoki >>> Disseverment (200tp remained, sekkanoki was still on) did savage blade, and sure enough, 100 tp leftover.

Idk about any practical use for this seeings as it takes 300 tp to really take advantage of (other than gettin ws points solo) but I still thought it was really cool. Let's just hope it's not a glitch :D

...although I could be wrong. Maybe there's some kind of 3-step SC worth making with this, even though /SAM still doesn't sound very attractive.

why dont some of use try it out?

Well, the only thing it really allows you to do (if you've saved up to 300tp is do a 3 part SC starting with a spell, instead of ending with it. Obviously if you do it the regular way around you can do ws > ws > spell, but this way you can do spell > ws > ws. It really isn't going to help you much though, 'cause let's face it, our spells will always be much, much more powerful than lolsword ws's.

What it DOES help you with though, is unlocking trial WS's. So if you're a blu, have /sam and are missing a quest ws, now's your chance :p

Yeah like I said, the fact that it takes 300 tp doesn't make it very applicable, BUT, I have been hitting pretty good ws numbers lately with vorpal blade, thanks to triumphant roar. My friend and I are also working on STR+6/attk+16 sword, and oa2-3 sword so building tp will be a much quicker process with that on top of our recent gain of 5% spell haste. Idk, maybe we'll find some use for this, or maybe it'll just look cool lol.

Anyway I'm just sayin, we CAN hit decent ws numbers, not amazing, or decent.

also blue Dual wield is not all that bad

While intersting I don't really see how it would beat ws ws spell in most situations. Even not considering it takes less tp.

It's really a shame though blu can't make gravitation with 2 swd ws.

Yeah I played with it some more, it's not really "useful" or practical, but it is kinda fun to see everyone wtf at it :P

On second though it might interesting to start a fight off with on something stronger with CA spell double sanguine blade.

No skillchain but sanguine can hit some nice numbers even on tough stuff duh to magical nature. Plus kinda keep you alive

Just messing around with this. The only way to make it effective and still less effective than the normal way of using chain affinity is by;

Sekkanoki > Chain Affinity > Savage Blade > Expiacon > Distortion > Vertical Cleave > Darkness.

1 thing i did notice however was that the darkness damage actually did more damage than vertical cleave did. Mind you it was on a decent challenge cockactrice in cape terrigan, but Ive never seen darkness ever do 150% of Vertical Cleaves dmg.

If you dont have expiacion Circle Blade > Vorpal Blade > (detonation?) > Hysteric Barrage > (some other skillchain) works. But circle blade is pretty bad for damage

Either way this is just for shits and giggles. Good luck ever trying to pull this off in any regular situation.

That's because it was a 3 step skillchain. You should see a 5 or 6 step
