I was on BLU/BST yesterday messing around looking for charmable camp fun and I notice no difference in DW from spells as in /NIN. I can be wrong and I'm surely not the (parser/calculator/omg its 2% slower) guy but I see it very useful to have non /NIN /DNC.
If it turns out to be DW1 then SE sure fooled me.

This was also in normal TP gear. I would post my gear if I knew how too.

Gotta love eyeballing (aside from that, pretty sure it's been confirmed to be DW 1 anyways, easy enough to check via tp return)

Ah! Checking TP never crossed my mind. I'll try that when I get home.

It's fail compared to what it could have been, but I will say /rdm with two swords is pretty awesome when I don't need shadows.

I can't wait to get to this point, personally- more utility is a plus in my book.

More stoked about native Double Attack than native Dual Wield.

We'll see how Dual Wield ends up at 99.

Honestly I think this as most spell traits will be very situational. Personally I will never set this as if I am Solo I will always use a damage mitigation set,(Genbu Shield) and If I am in a party I will always be /nin to avoid getting beat on heavily when I take hate. Even then I still macro D.R. gear in the event that I am tanking most of the time anyways. I can honestly see this becoming more and more beneficial as lvl cap increases paired with high damage magian trial weapons making /war and /sam viable sub jobs for exp parties. Either way, as with anything in the game, if it works more power to you!
