New Final Fantasy XIV Benchmark software
I only hope Square will optimize for both manufactures. Nvidia loves to *** with ATI cards with their "The way it's meant to be played" games.
Figured it was the graphics.
Wasn't expecting my PC to be able to play it anyway. But a 0? D: Ragnarok.Ahtos said: I don´t trust this benchmark, even with a high-end PC u get a low score ^^ Most people that have high end PCs are doing the bench in 1080p though. In 720p its 4000+ if you have a high end PC. I scored 256
Windows Vista Home edition Intergrated ATI HD (2100)(?) I think... AMD dual core processor ~1.80 gHz Leviathan.Remoraforever said: I scored 256 Windows Vista Home edition Intergrated ATI HD (2100)(?) I think... AMD dual core processor ~1.80 gHz I should keep my eye on the cost of i7s. Also I could definitely use a new and better video card; mine does not get along well with my HDTV serving as a monitor.
so how would i take a pic on windows xp running this performance test?
![]() Have a GeForce 9600GSO that I'm not sure my current power supply can handle. wtf low? Asura.Floorboss said: so how would i take a pic on windows xp running this performance test? Well ***, looks like I'm gonna be needing an upgrade before going nuts on XIV.

If u were using Vista or 7, it would most likely increase the score. How the ***would running Vista raise my score? It being a horrible resource hog and all >_>;; Also Q_Q my power supply can't handle my 9600GSO, it draws too much power. And I just ordered this damn thing today. Leviathan.Dubont said: Phoenix.Raigne said: ![]() Have a GeForce 9600GSO that I'm not sure my current power supply can handle. wtf low? Benchmark uses DX9 natively there wont be any kind of increase on vista or 7. Thank you for the Trailer link, its looking amazing :)

I <3 my psu need to sleep now.Wow that is one bigass case, I see it's a Corsair, didn't even know they made cases. I know they entered the PSU market not too long ago, how's that 850W? I love that cable management too, wow. My 700W modular Thermaltake PSU recently died after 3 years. Got an OCZ modular 700W to replace it cause it was on sale with a free 4GB USB stick. Considered a Corsair though. But at least the Thermaltake didnt take out any other components when it died. When I first started building my own PCs I used cheap PSUs, I'll never make that mistake again after one took out my motherboard and cpu when it died. Grrr. I tried to download the thing twice and it errors when I try to run it. Says that d3dx9_41.dll isn't there and that I need to try to re-download it. Maybe I'll try again later.

Download the latest DirectX and install it: http://download.cnet.com/Microsoft-DirectX-Redistributable-February-2010/3000-18541_4-10176490.html ![]() Dammit indeed... and I thought my system was at least barely capable. Thought mine was gonna suck, but.. From that looks of everyone else, I have one of the better ones. Lol
Asura.Kowen said: Bismarck.Patrik said: i say BS on this thing, just bought this laptop recently, which is very powerful with a strong ATI graphics card (yea i know its not nividia XD) and ive ran the beta np at all... got a 1190 >.> I know the benchmark has the NVIDIA logo on it, but so far it looks like ATI cards are getting better scores. It seems to be really CPU heavy too. The people with the highest scores I've seen have 8 and 12 core CPUs. ![]() Run at low resolution, because it doesn't fit to full-screen and on the higher resolution I couldn't even seen the score. Started out as a 3800, but I reset PC b/c it's been up for over a week. I don't have a registered version of Windows 7 yet I expect a better result when I can actually get updates. My PC scores a 5.8 on windows aero due to SATAII hard drive. Caitsith.Zabimaru said: Unicorn.Roxanna said: Grrr. I tried to download the thing twice and it errors when I try to run it. Not all of us are as computer savvy as many of you ^^ Please can someone explain how to install the benchmark program and the directx redistributable on a Vista PC. I have no idea where I am supposed to install the directx thingy. lol |
