Just A Question.

Going to be starting back up, but I'm curious if I'll be charged upon activating my Main character, and then be charged at the end of the month, ending up with a double charge.

Yep cause SE ____ like that.

You will, they won't let you off the half a month.

Activate June 30 = Fee.

July 1 = Another Fee.

And I remember they used to put the effort into prorating services.

So.. either way I'm screwed even if I wait until June 2nd when the billing hits everyone?

Yep. Er 2nd is ok but you'll probably have to wait till the 3rd.

If you get double billed... don't even think of trying to call the credit card company either and disbute it.

SE + Charge Back = you'll never play the game again

I thought if you deactivated you're character's content ID (like say in my shoes i joined the military and leave for boot camp for 2 months)

And as long as you disabled the content ID... you could still play with the character until the end of the month when they go to bill you... and then it deactivates the ID and won't charge you.

At which point when you come back and reactivate you shouldn't get charged right then and there... but rather only when the billing cycle hits again.

Is that wrong?

Oh and btw i suppose that doesn't apply if you just let the creditcard get declined/rejected and never play for awhile and then come back. I could see a double charge then.

I think they charge the moment you hit I agree.

As far as military service, SE doesn't give a ***sadly, there's one thread floating around about someone going in, then getting back finding out his account was 17ed because of a charge back. He brought it up with SE explaining the issue, they forwarded him to the account manager as usual.
