Log In Issues

I'm having Issues getting to my character or mules.

I can log in, pass through POL into the FFXI character select screen. I see my Char and mules load, select char then......
oO0 Downloading Data 0Oo
Until I get a msg that says No response from the POL server 3001.

tried with and without windower.
anyone else?
No changes to my PC at all since the last log in.

I've had this before. Usually when I'm logged in and playing and get randomly kicked out of game, I try to log back in and it says character is already playing. You have to completely logout of playonline. At least that worked for me.

I'm not even getting that msg, Its just "Doanloading Data..." at the bottom, with the black screen.

And I restarted my PC, and restarted viewer several times.

The usual stuff, tried restarting your modem/router, and are all the ports allowed through that FFXI uses on a software or Firewall included on a router, if you use one?

Idk what it was, I just tried again, didn't change any settings, and success!

Very odd though. :O
