About 20 minutes in Mexico was called offsides when they had about 5 feet to give and the ball was in the net. South Africa was lucky not to lose.

I've never understood why Americans dislike the French so much. Sure, we saved them during World Wars I & II, but we wouldn't be around to do it had they not saved us from the Brits across the pond. In any case, i'm quite unhappy with what Henri did during the qualifiers, but Maradona once did the same thing, and many people still regard him as one of the best futball players of all time.

In any case, i don't see the French getting to the finals again, at least without the soccer magician, Zidane. As long as we beat BRazil and Italy, i'll be happy. Seems like they're dominating the match so far.
I hope you are all remembering that France should not even be in the world cup after that howler of a handball by Henry that saw them go through instead of Ireland. The way they got away with it really does make me think there are backroom politics going on and money changing hands somewhere to see the "big teams" progressing at least as far as the group stages.

I totally agree. Also, everyone already knows the world cup is pretty much rigged from the start. You should also lookup Maradona's "Mano del Dio".
