Is it sad that I have Sorairo Days, Happily Ever After, and Libra Me From Hell and can sing each one word for word? Yeah I am that sad.

Seriously I have to agree, if you want to watch do the subs you will not regret it, and don't bother with the movie, though I did enjoy Simon's Awakening bit. Youtube that part if you don't know what I am talking about going to go watch that now.

I downloaded the OST as soon as i'd finished watching it, alot of the songs are what makes it so epic, Libera especially, never fails to stir something.



Edit: Not seen the films yet, been pre-occupied with other things but might have to check them out, seem a bit different. Might be a nice nostalgia trip.

I don't watch much in the way of TV, and I find myself unable to get into most anime.

Feeling too lazy to read the other pages, but if you're in for a good laugh, "Ghost Stories" is an anime with a gag dub in English. The show's otherwise standard fair, but the dub job on it makes it very worthwhile.

Watch Yugioh! It's sooooo cool! There's this one dude who takes over his father's military company and turns it into a multimillion dollar enterprise that focuses on making sophisticated holograms for children's trading card games. Can you ask for anything more in a TV show?!

i completely hated this show in dub. was like watching iron nails on old chalk board.

Blood+, Durarara!! and Angel beats are good to watch.

Higashi no Eden (Eden of the East) + the movie (my brain imploded)

Gundam 00 is always good, best gundam anime yet in my opinion.

My all time favorite is:

Nearly forgot about this thread. Looks like my recommendation was a hit.

Well, I don't watch that much TV, too busy, but let me think...Well, this brings up the question, "Do you know what an 'Abridged' series is?" It's basically fans taking a show, usually anime, and redubbing it into a condensed satirical version of itself. The first to do so was YuGiOh (which is such a hilariously bad show it's easy to mine for absurd material). However, the more famous ones now are likely Naruto Abridged and the larger, collaborative effort "Dragonball Z: Abridged."

On the off chance you haven't heard of it, here's the website for it. Just scroll down to see the first episode, since YouTube blocked it.

In case you're so lazy you really can't click that link, fine, here's episode 2, it's pretty good anyway. Funnier if you've seen DBZ before, but works even if you haven't.

I recently watched the second TTGL movie, I believe it ended with -hen. Was freaking sweeeet~

They did change some of the plot details and sped it up a bit which did disappoint me a tad bit but overall I really enjoyed it.

P.S. epic wins for the fans at the end of part 5 / start of 6 (watched a 6 parter found via google)

Here is another one I think was neat, not sure if it is an anime yet and if so was mentioned, but I found this as a manga about a year ago. Name was Bakuman if I recall. Is a manga about two teens wanting to be mangaka. I haven't dabbed into anime/manga in a long time but that was one of a few that I read soon as it came out.
