Just did this yesterday,

PLD/WAR, RDM/DRK, RDM/DRK, SMN/WHM, RNG/NIN, BLM/WHM

I was PLD, Voke >> 2 Hour >> then all JA's, that way i can hold hate
when RNG 2 Hours. After that i just keep running back up steps after
i get drawn in, Everyone else stays on top of steps out of AoE.
Didnt have any trouble with hate control, kept it whole fight.
Got Charmed once at about 58% HP, BLM slept me, and RNG gained hate
and just followed the steps i did for running back up steps, untill
I uncharmed, woke up and gained hate again. Was never really in trouble
and i was only one whose HP ever went into yellow..
