I have nothing against romance, but in previous FFs it was done in the similar fashion like that awful Twilight movie. Unlikely characters, awkward situations and a forced romance neither really want but pretend they do. It shows in every scene and it just leaves much to be desired in the end.

SE knows their roots and frankly massive world and inner conflict is what they make the most epic. Gogo character development and reflection of inner demons/struggles with a world in peril!
