I'll be trying a def. down / 2-4x Axe combo. I'll post some feed back when I actually finish them. Long trials are long.

I highly recommend this if you are currently using a magian or AH axe that is either defensive or neglects your pet's damage, as it took all but about 3 hours to complete. It seemed to proc on almost every single mob, and I saw much bigger numbers out of yuly and myself(just eyeballing, yuly crits for 450+, a few spiral spins for 1100+). How did this take u 3 hrs? I get 2-3 proc per 4min fight and im on fungar. So that means this trial alone will take about 1.5hrs. Dose it proc more often with each upgrade?
Someone else PM me that.. I should probably adjust the info.. was about a year ago that I did it and I did it on WAR in aby with 5-6 mobs on me just spam proccing. coulda been more like 5 hours but definitely the fastest magian ive ever done, did it all in an evening.
Funguars are dangerous multi-proc'ing because their breath attacks are based on HP, and early on... well, it'll hurt when 4 funguars Dark Spore you in the face at near-full HP. I'd suggest doing that part in Dynamis, axe in the off-hand, during Byne time, so you'll be killing two birds with one stone, and then the rest of the trials outside, in Abyssea.

Fungar camp is really bad here, regardless of how many ppl they will fight u for every mob in site. That really every camp but its not the best time or place for trials since time is money.
Your off-hand won't limit you very much imo. You won't even lose 10% killspeed – in fact, you may gain with the def. down effect already proc'ing.
I found an easier way, 1. Hold 1 at a time, once u proc tun and wait for it to wear off and proc again, repeat. Use snarl to keep hate on ur pet. 2. Which is prob faster, hold 2 and just alternate useing method 1. You can use more then 2 i just find it confusing when it wears off which while trying to keep all the hate on ur pet.
But either way i found both alot easier and faster then just full meeling 1 at a time. Also my pet never fought, just used stay and let it tank.

I'm working on mine now as well. Finishing up Funguars, and this is how I've been doing it. Looking forward to pushing the limits when I farm Dynamis. I really want to get a run w/ 225 singles; that's my zealous goal!

Anyone having alot of probs with ppl holding multipule mobs and then they get all pissed off if u attk 1? I dont mean agro they purposly take 2-4 and hold them then *** at u if u touch any.
i walk away from people with more then one mob and hope people would do the same because that is how u do get 150+ coins but then theres people who dont think the same its why i try to go when its as empty as possible.

Personally, I let people go if they only have two mobs. If someone is soloing and he thinks he can hold three or four things at once, especially if there aren't much mobs around, I'll take some of his. Gimped bsts are famous for that. If he wants to get mad and take revenge, I dedicate my entire run to screwing with him. At that point revenge takes priority over my gil.
I'm only really bothered by this if it's done without need, as in, they'd rather take the already proced mob than one of the dozens around it. You can recite the ToS agreement as many times as you like, you're still a scumbag.
