[FFXIV: ARR] Which server are you going to?
Please keep in mind that voting is anonymous, so feel free to vote if you wish to not post and continue to lurk. I do ask though that if you do vote, if you're not lurking, to also make a post of where you plan to go, and why.
For example: I plan to go to Excalibur because my friends are. It would be nice to see who is going where, so we get an idea of where everyone is going. Maybe we can get an official FFXIAH / FFXIV Pro server? Would be interesting. Which server do you plan to play on when FFXIV: ARR is released?
I also ask that if you do not plan on playing, to not disrupt this topic. I've included the option only to let you have an option if you do not want to play, but keep in mind that others do.

Excalibur, cause that's where my LS is going~
Nearly everyone I ever spoke to mentioned Excalibur. I have a bad feeling that server is gonna run out fast on population limits.
I didn't even realize Ragnarok was a EU Legacy server, I'm going to have to migrate to Excalibur it seems!
Won't be playing more than likely due to RL time constraints. If I change my mind, Ultros!
I'll be on Excalibur, but I'll have an extra character elsewhere. Where at, I don't know yet.

what does the legacy mean?

EU but going to Gilgamesh because my gf wants to play on Gilga for xi server nostalgia reasons I spose.
Yeah since my character was originally from Durandal, ill probably go to Ultros which im currently playing the beta on.
Legacy characters can only switch between Legacy servers
not sure. was on aegis before, so maybe excal?

ALSO, not looking for an extensive answer (unless someone wants to give it lol) but are stats / hp / mp for races in 14 pretty much the same as their equivalent in 11? Or, if anyone has a website where i can find this, please post, because i havent been able to find any info on this. Im torn between hume and mantrha for 14 lol In 1.0 there were no penalties(or bonuses) for choosing one race over the other. I didn't get to play my lalafell much in phase3, but her stats seemed(when synced) to be the same as the roegadyn I made.
I think the only difference was in elemental resists or something. Hyur and Male Miqo'te. I don't know what server I'm going to go with now. I don't want to abandon my old character or LS, but I might make a new one to play with some XI friends eventually. Would be a bit more fun to start from lv.1 with people, but I've already done all this(multiple times) before. Staying on Balmung. Was originally going to move to Excalibur to be with some friends, but they're coming here.
Are they not doing region mixed servers with 14 like they did 11?
